Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing why international working opportunities are beneficial for employees and companies, but the ideas are limited and under-developed, placing the response at this level. Furthermore, it is important to note that the response falls short of the minimum length requirement of 250 words, containing only 220 words. While the writer touches on points such as learning new technologies, gaining independence, and boosting global growth for companies, these points lack sufficient extension and concrete supporting details. For instance, the mention of exploring new AI tools or generating new ideas is stated briefly without explanation or specific examples, which restricts the depth of the task response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The text displays a coherent overall arrangement and an attempt to sequence ideas logically through paragraphing and basic connectors like 'firstly', 'in addition', and 'in conclusion'. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. Referencing is not always clear, as seen with ambiguous pronouns ('this development would provide worker benefits', 'it will affect on company growth'), which makes the logical progression slightly disjointed in places. While paragraphs are used to separate different parts of the prompt, the internal flow between sentences often relies on repetitive structures rather than smooth, flexible transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to communicate the basic points of the essay. There are noticeable lexical errors and issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'substantial abroad companies', 'schedule of time', and 'build numerous knowledge'. While the writer attempts some less common vocabulary, inaccuracies in word form and expression—like 'far instance' instead of 'for instance' and 'new comer employee'—cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a restricted lexical range appropriate for this band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying primarily on simple sentences alongside poorly controlled attempts at complex sentences. Frequent grammatical errors occur throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('companies are provide', 'employee get'), incorrect preposition use ('with another company'), and missing articles. Punctuation and capitalization are also unreliable, such as starting sentences with lowercase letters ('firstly', 'in addition', 'it will affect'). These frequent errors and the lack of error-free complex sentences cause occasional difficulty for the reader.
