Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both why the opportunity is good for employees and what advantages it brings to companies. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. For example, the advantage for employees is explained with a reasonable mention of communication skills, but the examples tend to generalise rather than fully elaborate. Similarly, the benefit for companies regarding maintaining consistency in protocols is introduced clearly, but the supporting example about food chains remains slightly vague. The position is clear throughout, and the main arguments are relevant to the prompt, fulfilling the requirements for this level where some ideas lack complete extension.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear overarching progression of ideas. Paragraphing is used appropriately, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs addressing each part of the prompt, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are employed to connect ideas, such as "One of the major advantage", "Another positive outcome", and "In conclusion". However, cohesion is sometimes slightly mechanical or repetitive, and referencing within sentences occasionally feels abrupt. The transition between sentences shows logical sequencing, earning credit for fully meeting the core organizational requirements while showing partial strengths of higher levels through clear paragraph separation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to communicate their main ideas successfully. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as "emergence of differing opinions", "professional skills", and "international market". However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occur throughout the text, including "upgarde" instead of upgrade, "amny" instead of many, "maintainence" instead of maintenance, "comapny" instead of company, and "benfit" instead of benefit. Despite these inaccuracies, communication is rarely impeded, and the range of vocabulary remains sufficient to convey the intended meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writing demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional and relative clauses like "companies are sending their employees to live and work for sometime in another country which has led to..." and "Not only could help an individual...". There are several errors in grammar and punctuation, including capitalization issues ("Not only"), missing articles ("in foreign nation"), subject-verb agreement issues ("an employee become"), and prepositions ("working style in other nation"). However, these errors rarely impede communication, and the structures attempted show a reasonable variety of sentence types suitable for this level.
