Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a relevant focus: employees can learn from different work cultures, while companies may benefit from loyalty and growth. The example of Home Depot gives the company discussion some support. However, the employee benefits are explained more fully than the company advantages, and several claims need clearer development. For instance, the statement that foreign experience makes someone “more productive” is not explained, and the link between receiving overseas experience and staying with one employer is asserted rather than demonstrated. “Satisfied work culture” is introduced at the end of the company paragraph but not developed. Explain the mechanisms behind each benefit and add a specific example or detail to make the response more complete and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employees and companies, and a conclusion. The signposts “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. Within paragraphs, however, progression is sometimes uneven. The employee paragraph moves from work cultures to problem-solving and productivity without clearly showing how each point connects. In the company paragraph, loyalty, career growth, the Home Depot example, and work culture are grouped together, but the final point is left undeveloped. Some linking phrases, such as “On the other hand,” suggest contrast even though the paragraph adds another advantage. Use clearer links between claims and explanations, and organise each paragraph around a small number of fully connected points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “work cultures,” “exposure,” “productive,” “loyal employee base,” and “growth opportunities.” These choices communicate the topic, and some attempts at more formal phrasing are evident. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling reduce precision: “ethics of work” is unclear in context, “different locality” sounds unnatural, and “several benefit” should be expressed with a suitable plural form. There are also spelling errors such as “advatages,” “emloyee,” and “comapany.” Aim for natural combinations such as “work practices in different countries” and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help distinguish the benefits to employees from those to employers.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “who would not consider leaving the job early” and a conditional structure in “if the person has a growth in one company.” The main ideas remain understandable, but some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction are noticeable. For example, “This development would provides” should use the base verb after “would,” while “living and exploring different lifestyle improve” has a subject–verb agreement problem and an incorrect singular noun form. The conclusion also has a mismatch in “it would also improves.” Review modal verb patterns, singular and plural agreement, and article use. Building accuracy in these areas while retaining complex sentences will make your writing more controlled.
