Student answer (Band 4.5)

yes, nowaydays companies like wipro, amazon, google have branches all over the world in my opinion there are advantages as well as disadvantages. there are few dis advantages one of them they might not offer their family visa or accomodation which is one of them they are going to miss families , it is going to effect them pesonally staff need familes for emotional support and if companies offer their family visas the living expences would not consider to be covered from companies.

There are advantages of getting international exposure , short kind of vacation and they might enjoy views of the cities. This is one of the opportunity for the employee to connect with international clients inperson.

The companies have an opportunities to getting a edgde of any kind of project . if they went on business meetings even have the possibilities of succesfull deal. this is one of the advantages to the companies.

The companies have to pay in foriegn currency's because staff are living in abroad

and they have to spend in foreign currency's.

employees gets a breather of staying in another country they have a atmosphere, in my opinion not about small or big company , i wanted every company have to implemention of giving their staff an opportunity to work abroad, the staff get to know more advanced methods not like their own country have it but they get to see different ways to better their skills by getting exposure abroad you might gie more offers bythem in future too.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions by mentioning employee benefits, such as international exposure and contact with overseas clients, and company benefits, including improved project knowledge and the possibility of successful deals. However, the response only partially develops these points. The opening introduces disadvantages, although the task asks specifically for advantages, and the employee benefits are mostly listed rather than explained. The company section also needs a clearer explanation of how overseas experience helps a business, supported by a specific example. Your view that companies should offer this opportunity appears near the end, but it is not stated clearly at the outset. Focus on the two requested advantages and explain each with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is some paragraphing, and the response moves from employee concerns and benefits to advantages for companies. This gives the reader a basic sense of the topics. However, the progression is difficult to follow because ideas are loosely connected, and the opening focuses on disadvantages before shifting to the question’s advantages. Linking phrases such as “This is one of the advantages” are repeated without showing how the ideas relate. The final paragraph combines employee benefits, company policy, skills, and future offers, so its main point becomes unclear. Organise the response into a clear introduction, one paragraph on employees, one on companies, and a conclusion; use linking expressions to show cause and result.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “international exposure,” “emotional support,” “international clients,” and “foreign currency.” These phrases show an attempt to discuss work and overseas experience. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning harder to understand. For example, “getting a edge” and “a breather of staying” do not express the intended ideas naturally, while “living expenses” and “successful deal” need more accurate forms. Spelling errors such as “accomodation,” “pesonally,” and “succesfull” are also noticeable. Build a bank of precise workplace and business expressions, and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts some longer sentences and uses clauses to explain reasons, for example, “staff need families for emotional support” and the sentence beginning “The staff get to know more advanced methods.” However, sentence structures are often incomplete or joined without clear punctuation, and errors in agreement, articles, and verb forms occur frequently. Examples include “there are a advantages,” “the companies have an opportunities,” and “employees gets.” The final sentence is especially difficult to follow because several ideas are joined together without clear grammatical boundaries. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas using accurate conjunctions. Check subject–verb agreement and article use in each sentence.
