Student answer (Band 6.0)

In this contemporary world, employees from multinational businesses are sent abroad for certain time for living and exploring the place as well as for working purposes. This can be beneficial for both workers as well as employers.

To begin with, for employees this is a good opportunity to learn about different countries and it culture. This is a useful way to expand the skills a worker is possessing. Individuals can adapt new approaches of carrying out different office tasks, those were learnt from the place they have been to. Moreover, employees can expand their boundries in terms of working internationally, this will eventually open more doors for foreign employment. For instance, nowadays, a person working in a global industry in India has an opportunity to work for USA-United States of America if they have been associated with the company before. It not only shapes future of the worker but also helps to secure the future of the whole family.

Moreover, this trend is useful for the company itself. The firm having good ties at global level will tend to have more success internationally. The company can be recognized by the whole world. Furthermore, it also helps to improve trading at foreign levels which can ultimately be helpful to increase the economy of the country. At international level, the industries would work together for success and perhaps learn form eachother, making the company more versatile. For example, Google is an international company however, it is working according to the particular nations needs.

In conclusion, worker travelling from international company to other foreign firms can be advantageous for both employees and employer in many ways.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and maintain a relevant focus on the benefits for employees and companies. The employee section gives several pertinent points—learning about another culture, developing new work approaches, and gaining access to international career opportunities—and the example of an Indian employee potentially working in the United States helps illustrate this. The company section also identifies global recognition and learning from international partners. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: the link between overseas assignments and “increase the economy of the country” is not made clear, and the Google example does not show specifically how sending staff abroad benefits the company. Develop each main advantage with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and a more directly relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employees and companies, and a conclusion. Sequencing is easy to follow, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and also shows some flexibility in grouping related ideas. To make progression more consistently smooth, strengthen the links between individual claims and their explanations. For example, the move from international work experience to securing a family’s future is abrupt, while the company paragraph shifts from recognition to trade and then collaboration without showing how these points connect. Use clearer referencing and transitions, rather than relying mainly on additive linkers.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “multinational businesses,” “internationally,” “global level,” and “versatile.” There are also attempts at less common phrasing, such as “expand their boundaries,” although the expression is not quite natural in this context. Several noticeable word-choice and collocation problems reduce precision: “for certain time for living,” “expand the skills a worker is possessing,” and “trading at foreign levels” are awkward or unclear. Spelling errors such as “boundries” and “eachother” also affect accuracy. Aim for natural combinations such as “spend a period abroad,” “develop their skills,” and “international trade,” and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “which” and “if,” and most of the message remains understandable. Some grammatical errors occur, but they do not generally prevent the reader from following your argument. Examples include “it culture,” where the possessive form is needed, and “those were learnt,” where the relative clause is not correctly formed. There are also issues with articles and sentence construction in phrases such as “for certain time” and “the industries would work together for success.” Practise accurate relative clauses and article use, and review punctuation where two complete ideas are joined by a comma, as in “working internationally, this will eventually open more doors.”
