Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall position: working abroad supports employees’ professional and personal growth, while companies gain market knowledge, productivity and access to overseas customers. Relevant explanations include learning from diverse coworkers and sharing knowledge with local staff. The conclusion also brings the two sides together effectively. This meets the task well, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the link between being bilingual and helping employees “expand the business” is unclear, and the productivity benefit could use a specific explanation or example. The response is also one word below the required minimum. Develop these ideas with a concrete example and make the employee and company benefits more precisely connected.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on employee benefits, a paragraph on company benefits, and a conclusion. The progression from personal development to business advantages is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. To make the organisation more polished, avoid relying on transitions alone and strengthen the links between individual claims. For instance, explain how employees’ language skills translate into better customer understanding, rather than moving directly from bilingualism to business expansion. There are also a few spacing and punctuation issues around sentence boundaries, such as “preferences. As a result” and “markets. Therefore,” which interrupt the otherwise clear flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “multinational companies,” “diverse backgrounds,” “cultural awareness,” “productivity,” and “international markets.” These choices communicate the main ideas clearly, and some topic-specific expressions show an attempt to be precise. However, several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors limit the overall control: “build a successful careers,” “open more door,” “improve the performances,” and “retain with the company” are not natural or correctly formed in context. There are also spelling errors such as “empolyees” and “conculsion.” Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling and plural forms during proofreading; this will make the vocabulary more accurate and flexible.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “as,” “which,” and “while.” Most ideas remain understandable, and the conclusion is expressed in a clear, balanced sentence. Some grammatical errors nevertheless recur. For example, “Working abroad help” needs subject–verb agreement, while “as having coworkers … assist” has an awkward clause structure and agreement problem. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent in phrases such as “learn new language” and “a successful careers.” Capitalisation and sentence punctuation need attention too, including the capital letters in “Many,” “It,” and “One” after commas. Review agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for accuracy.
