Student answer (Band 6.0)

In today's era, many hightech gloabl companies are providind an opportunity for their employee's to spent considerable time of thier life, staying and working in different country. There are various merits to this kind of a approach which results in a progress of a company's productivity and overall status.

There are several advantages for working in a different country for employee's career advancements. Firstly, working as a foriegn employee broadens their horizon of work culture. When a foreign worker interacts with other members having a different mindset then them, they understand team collaboration, leadership qualities more efficiently as they have to adjust, respond, react in a certain way. In addition, foriegn workers become highly competent in their working skills as they continue to learn new concepts, take advanced courses to achieve that competency. For instance, in many developing countries many global companies have seen an increase in productivity and stronger inter-personal skills when they sent their employee in a different nation.

Another important facet of discussion is that when a foriegn worker gains advanced practical and soft skills, it has numerous benefits for the company's success. Companies having workers with higher core values and advanced theoretical and practical skills will demonstrate more progress and increased efficiency and productivity in achieving required goals for company's progress.

To sum up, many international firms are now providing various opportunities to their staff members such as living and exploring the work culture in different country which not only strengthens their expertise but also improves the company's progress by improving staff member's productivity and efficiency.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and maintain a relevant focus on employee development and company performance. The employee benefits are explained through exposure to different work cultures, collaboration, leadership, and skill development. However, the company advantages are less fully developed: the paragraph mainly says that skilled staff improve efficiency and productivity, without explaining other possible gains, such as transferring knowledge between offices or strengthening international operations. The example about companies in developing countries is relevant in principle, but remains general and does not show a specific outcome. To strengthen the response, explain the causal links more fully and add a concrete example for the company-focused part.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “In addition,” and “To sum up” help guide the reader. This coherent organisation is a strength. However, some linking is mechanical, and the ideas within paragraphs are not always developed in a smooth progression. For example, the employee paragraph moves from work culture to collaboration and then to courses without clearly connecting these points. The repeated references to “progress” and “productivity” also make the conclusion feel repetitive. Use more precise referencing and develop each point through explanation or an example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “team collaboration,” “leadership qualities,” “practical and soft skills,” and “efficiency.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and some less common expressions are attempted. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural collocations are noticeable, including “hightech gloabl,” “providind,” “broaden their horizon,” and “a progress of a company's productivity.” Repetition of “progress,” “skills,” and “productivity” also limits flexibility. Aim for accurate spelling and more natural combinations, such as “broaden their professional horizons” and “boost company productivity.” Vary repeated terms where appropriate, while ensuring that more ambitious vocabulary is used accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “When a foreign worker interacts with other members… they understand…” and “Companies having workers… will demonstrate…”. The overall meaning is generally clear. Some grammatical errors remain, however, particularly with articles, plurals, and sentence construction. For example, “in different country” needs a plural or an article, and “a different mindset then them” has an unclear comparison structure. The opening sentence also contains several errors that make its structure difficult to follow. Work on accurate noun phrases and comparisons, and check subject–verb agreement and punctuation in longer sentences. More consistently controlled complex sentences would improve clarity.
