Student answer (Band 6.0)
Thesedays many multinational companies allow their employees to work in overseas branches for a certain time period. This can benefit both workers and employers in several ways.
One of the main benefits of working abroad for employees is that it provides them with an opportunity to learn new techniques and gain valuable experience. Every workplace has a different set of strategies using which they complete their tasks. Therefore, if employees work overseas they will learn new ways of finishing work at another workplace and use them at their home office upon returning. Additionally, living independentlt in s foreign country can make employees more confident and adaptable. Managing everything on their own in an unfimiliar surroundings builds up their self- esteem.
On the contrary this approach has several benefits in favour of employers as well. International expansion is one of the significant advantages. While working in abroad branches, workers understabd foreign markets better and this as a resulrt can help company attract more customers globally. Apart from that skills and new knowledge acquired at different workplace can help improve the producitivity.
To conclude, working remotely is very advantageous beacause working abroad can improve employees' professional and personal abilities, while companies can benefit from their international knowledge and experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall position: overseas work can develop employees’ skills and confidence, while companies may gain market knowledge and productivity. The employee benefits are explained with relevant details, such as learning methods to use on returning home and becoming more adaptable through independent living. The company points—understanding foreign markets and attracting customers—are relevant, but they are stated more briefly and would benefit from a specific example or fuller explanation. The conclusion also introduces “working remotely,” which is not quite the same as living and working abroad. The response is below the required minimum length, so there is limited space to develop the company advantages and support both sides evenly. Add a concrete example and extend the less-developed points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. This makes the main progression easy to follow. Linking expressions such as “Therefore,” “Additionally,” and “Apart from that” help connect supporting points, and the reference to using new methods “upon returning” links the learning benefit to a practical outcome. However, some transitions feel mechanical: “On the contrary” suggests a contrast, although the company benefits are complementary rather than opposing the employee benefits. The short company paragraph also moves quickly from international expansion to productivity without explaining the connection between them. Use more precise transitions and develop the relationship between each main idea and its supporting detail to make progression more consistently smooth.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “multinational companies,” “valuable experience,” “adaptable,” “foreign markets,” and “productivity.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and attempts to use more specific language are evident. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, however, such as “working in abroad branches,” “in favour of employers,” and “a different set of strategies using which they complete their tasks.” There are also spelling errors, including “unfimiliar,” “understabd,” and “producitivity,” which reduce accuracy even though the intended meaning is generally recoverable. Aim for natural combinations such as “work at overseas branches” and proofread carefully for spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would help express the company benefits clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if employees work overseas they will learn new ways” and a concluding clause beginning “while companies can benefit.” Most sentences communicate their meaning, and the response shows some control of subordination. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in articles, prepositions, and sentence construction. For example, “in s foreign country” needs the correct article, while “working in abroad branches” uses an incorrect preposition pattern; “in unfamiliar surroundings” also needs a more suitable article or plural construction. The sentence beginning “Every workplace has a different set of strategies using which…” is awkwardly structured. Review article use and common preposition patterns, and simplify or recast sentences when the structure becomes difficult to control.
