Student answer (Band 6.0)
These days large multinational businesses offer their employees to live and work in a foreign nation. This is a good oppurtunity for the employees, as it helps them to learn about the techniques and culture of a designated country which furthur aids in proper understanding of the nature and policy of the place.
When the staffs are sent to certain country, they tend to learn about the people and place. It helps them to understand how the people reacts. In addition, employees get to know more about the needs and expectation of the local people in these countries. For instance, an employee who is sent to a rural south Asian country will learn a lot about the place and will be able to tackle with the problem asssociated with the certain group of people as he will also face the same issues while living there. Hence, it will enhance his/her ability to cope with the situation over there.
The knowledge gained by the staff will be beneficial for the company as these staffs will be good at dealing with the people from the country where they have been. For example, a person who has been to the place and lived there for a while is likely to know the behaviour of the general public in those area and will act accordingly to solve the problem.
In conclusion, the opportunity for the employees to live and work in another nation by the international companies helps to increase the knowledge and understanding of the individuals in the targeted country which eventually helps the company with making deals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions: the employee benefits are explained through learning about local people and expectations, while the company benefit is linked to staff being better able to deal with people in that market. The rural South Asian example helps illustrate how living in a country can build practical understanding. However, the employee benefits are developed more fully than the advantages for companies, which are mainly stated as improved dealings and problem-solving. The discussion would be stronger if you explained more specifically how this knowledge could help a company—for example, by adapting products, communicating with local partners, or avoiding cultural misunderstandings. Some points, such as “learn about the techniques,” are also unclear and need explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on employees and companies, and a conclusion. Ideas generally progress from gaining local knowledge to applying it at work, and linking expressions such as “In addition,” “For instance,” and “Hence” help guide the reader. At times, however, the connections feel mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “these countries” and “those area” do not identify a specific place, while “the problem” is not clearly defined. The company paragraph also repeats the idea that staff understand local people without adding much progression. Use clearer references and make each paragraph develop a distinct point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “multinational businesses,” “expectation,” “beneficial,” and “understanding,” which allows you to discuss the topic clearly. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “nature and policy” and “tackle with the problem,” but some combinations are inaccurate or unnatural, limiting precision. Spelling errors such as “oppurtunity,” “furthur,” and “asssociated” are noticeable, and “staffs” is not the natural plural form in this context. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for business outcomes would also help you explain the company advantages with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentences, including subordinate clauses with “as,” “when,” and “which,” and most of your meaning remains clear. Some grammatical errors persist, particularly with agreement and sentence construction. For example, “how the people reacts” should use a plural verb, and “the staffs … these staffs” treats “staff” as a countable plural noun. The phrase “will be able to tackle with the problem” also has an incorrect verb pattern; use “tackle the problem.” In “a person … in those area,” the demonstrative and noun do not agree. Review subject–verb agreement, countable and uncountable nouns, and verb patterns while continuing to use varied sentence forms.
