Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent days, some large international organizations offer their employees the opportunity to spend a period of time living and working in another country. This opportunity is a good one because it broaden the experience of the staff about work and intellectual uplifting.
One important advantage of this development to the companies is it improves employees capability. During this time, some companies send their capable staff to their other branch to train and equip trianee to the standard needed. This affects the outcome and how the company is managed. For instance, a newly constructed diaper company in another country transfers some of their staff to train and educate employees from that nation about the products.
Another advantage of this opportunity to the companies is that it upgrade the employee's education and certificate. Some of these companies encourages their staff to further their studies and acquire more skills before returning to the company. These opportunity helps in management of the firm and the staff. For example, some companies send one or two of their staff to study in abroad on a particular course that will benefit the company during their stay in the other nation.
This opportunity would benefit the employees through advancing in their career and promotes trust from the staff to the employer and eliminate inappropriate habits from employees.
In conclusion, I believe that this opportunity is beneficial to both the employer and the employee. It prevents mismanagement in the company and promotes career advancement to the staff which makes work easy and fun.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions, and the company benefits are supported with examples, such as sending staff to train a new branch or study a relevant course. However, the employee benefits receive much less explanation: “advancing in their career” and “promotes trust” are mentioned but not developed with reasons or examples. The opening also promises “intellectual uplifting” without explaining what this means. As a result, the response only partially develops the task, and the benefits are not balanced. The response is 241 words, so it is 9 words below the 250-word minimum; the 14 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Add relevant explanation and examples, especially for employees, while meeting the required length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for company benefits, an employee-benefit paragraph, and a conclusion. This makes the main topics easy to identify. However, progression is limited because the employee paragraph is brief and the conclusion largely repeats earlier claims rather than drawing the ideas together. Linking phrases such as “Another advantage” and “For instance” help signal examples, but the repeated paragraph openings make the organisation somewhat mechanical. Some references are also unclear, as in “These opportunity helps,” where the reader must infer which opportunity is meant. Develop each main point in a fuller sequence—claim, explanation, and example—and use clearer references to improve flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to employment and business, including “capable staff,” “branch,” “management,” “further their studies,” and “career advancement.” These choices communicate the general subject, but the range is limited and several word combinations or forms are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less natural. For example, “intellectual uplifting” is unclear, “study in abroad” is not idiomatic, and “diaper company” may not express the intended business context precisely. There are also spelling errors such as “trianee.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and choose specific terms that express the intended benefit. Replacing vague phrases with precise language will make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including sentences beginning “During this time” and “For instance,” and most ideas remain understandable. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include “it broaden the experience,” “it upgrade,” and “Some of these companies encourages,” where the subject and verb do not agree. “These opportunity helps” also has agreement and number problems. The sentence beginning “This opportunity would benefit the employees through…” has an unclear grammatical relationship between “through advancing” and “promotes.” Practise checking each sentence’s subject and verb, and build longer sentences from accurate clauses before adding more complex structures.
