Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a relevant focus on benefits for employees and companies. For employees, you identify cultural awareness and broader knowledge; for companies, you explain that staff may bring back techniques and help the business progress in a new market. These are appropriate ideas, but some are not fully explained. For example, the claim that employees gain knowledge of “different aspects of life” remains broad, and the Canada statistic is not clearly connected to the point or supported with context. The company benefits would be stronger if you explained how transferred skills improve productivity, decision-making, or competitiveness. Develop each main idea with a clear cause-and-effect explanation and a relevant, credible example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. This makes the main progression easy to follow. You also use linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “Apart from this,” and “To conclude.” However, some connections feel mechanical or do not express the relationship precisely. The sentence beginning “Because in this cut-throat competitions” is not smoothly attached to the preceding idea, while “As a consequence” is used where the result is not clearly established. References such as “same strategy” could also be made more explicit. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each sentence directly to the idea before it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “broaden the horizon,” “indispensable role,” and “cut-throat competition,” which shows an effort to use less common expressions. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear. For instance, “going foreign countries” and “ocean of knowledge” are not natural in this context, and “new experiments” seems to mean new methods or techniques. There are also repeated spelling errors, including “thier,” “Furtherore,” and “succes.” Aim for precise, natural combinations rather than ornate phrases, and proofread carefully for spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “which” and “as.” The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “employees those often speak” needs a relative clause such as “employees who often speak,” and “As a consequences” has an agreement error. The opening also runs two sentences together at “companies. There,” and the fragment beginning “Because in this cut-throat competitions” is not grammatically complete. Practise building accurate complex sentences and check sentence boundaries, subject–verb agreement, and article use.
