Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You address both questions in a basic way: you mention benefits to employees, such as higher pay, cultural and language learning, and gaining skills, and suggest that companies can benefit when staff share those skills. Your personal example of working in Korea also gives some relevant support. However, the company advantages are only briefly stated, and the employee benefits are not explained in enough detail to show how they help. The response is also substantially below the required 250 words, so it cannot develop the ideas or provide the relevant examples the task asks for. To strengthen the response, explain each benefit and add specific examples for both employees and companies.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has a basic sequence: it begins with employee benefits, gives a personal example, and then turns to how employees might help their company. This makes the general direction understandable. However, the ideas are presented in one continuous paragraph, with little clear separation between the two parts of the question. Several sentences begin with “Because” or “It is help,” and links such as “Because of that” do not always make the relationship between ideas clear. Organise the answer into an introduction, a paragraph on employee benefits, a paragraph on company advantages, and a conclusion. Use clear transitions to show how each example supports the point being made.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small range of relevant vocabulary, including “salary,” “cultures,” “language,” “new skills,” and “employees,” so the main topic is generally clear. The personal example also gives you a chance to use vocabulary connected with work and learning. However, the range is limited and some phrases are unclear or inaccurately formed, such as “different places,” “mind set,” and “another set of mins set.” These choices make parts of the message difficult to understand. Aim for more precise expressions and check word forms and spelling. For example, you could describe “professional skills,” “a broader perspective,” or “share expertise with colleagues” when explaining the benefits to a company.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You mainly use short, simple clauses, and the reader can identify the broad meaning of most points. There is an attempt to connect ideas with “Because” and “Because of that,” but the range of sentence structures remains very limited, and several sentences are incomplete or grammatically inaccurate. For instance, “Because i learn new skills and mind set” is a dependent clause without a complete main clause, while “it is help me to grow” has an incorrect verb form. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, including the lowercase “i” and spaces before commas. Practise complete sentences, accurate past-tense forms for your Korea example, and simple compound sentences joined with “and” or “so.”
