Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this prevailing era, going to another countries in order to get good education or job have become popular trend everywhere. It can be seen that many big international companies give opportunity to their employees go foregin country either for living or working. I believe that this trend is good for employees because they can grasp the knowledge about new culture and tradition as well as get chance to learn new skills. According to my viewpoint, this development is also constructive for companies in different ways, which I will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs.
Commencing with the first benefit which employees can get if they go any international trip through their company. They can get a chance not only know about different culture and tradition but also native country cuisins's. For example, nowadays, mostly people travel to different country such as, Canada, US, UK and so on, so that they can enjoy the quality of life their as well as they can know their cultures and learn something from it. As a result, they can broaden their horizon which will really helpful their future growth. Furthermore, If the employees get chance to go foregin country, they can learn new language such as, English, French and so on. This language will help to understand the people thoughts and make new friends there. Consequently, they do not feel isolate because they can communicate with native people easily.
This development also advantages for companies as well. First and foremost benefit is employees can work with new technology and new business ideas which they learn during their international trip. In this way, they can either finish their work on time or with more efficient way. Therefore, companies will automatcially get good results and more sales. Moreover, employees can also introduce new foreign clients in their company because they have knowledge how to communicate with them, they can easily sale the company's product with their good communications.
In conclusion, sending to employees to live or work in another country is really beneficier for both employees and company. I believe staff will get chance to enhance their skills and after that assist the company to more grow with their skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall position: overseas placements can broaden employees’ experience and help companies improve performance. The employee benefits—cultural exposure, language learning and communication—are relevant, while the company section identifies learning new methods and reaching foreign clients. These points support the task, but some are developed more fully than others. For instance, the cultural example focuses on people travelling for leisure rather than staff living and working abroad, and the link between learning a language and future workplace benefits could be explained more directly. The company advantages are also asserted rather than illustrated with a specific example. To strengthen the response, explain how an overseas assignment produces each benefit and add a concrete workplace example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employees and companies, and a conclusion. The progression from employee benefits to business advantages is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This gives the essay a coherent arrangement, although some linking is mechanical or imprecise. The opening of the second paragraph, “Commencing with the first benefit,” is awkward, and “This development also advantages for companies” does not form a clear transition. Some references, such as “This language,” are understandable but could be more precise. Use simpler, accurate transitions and organise each body paragraph around a main point followed by its explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “broaden their horizon,” “native people,” “business ideas,” and “foreign clients,” and the intended meaning is generally recoverable. However, noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, word forms and spelling limit precision. Examples include “foregin,” “cuisins's,” “automatcially,” and “beneficier”; phrases such as “good education or job” and “sale the company's product” are also unnatural or inaccurate. Repetition of “chance,” “new,” and “good” further restricts the range. Build a reliable set of expressions for international assignments and business outcomes, and check spelling and collocations. More precise choices such as “gain experience,” “adapt to a new culture,” and “increase sales” would make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including the contrast structure “not only … but also” and clauses introduced by “because” and “which.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles and plurals occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to process. For example, “going to another countries … have become popular trend” has problems with number, agreement and article use; “give opportunity to their employees go” is missing grammatical elements; and “which I will be discussed” uses an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “First and foremost benefit” also needs a clearer grammatical structure. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then extend them with subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms.
