Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question and maintain a relevant focus on how overseas work can benefit employees and companies. For employees, you explain that exposure to different working environments and cultures can build skills and support promotion. For companies, you discuss adaptability and the value of employees’ broader knowledge for future projects. These are relevant ideas, but some are less fully developed than others: the employee benefits are mainly linked to skills and promotion, while the company benefits rely on general claims about future emergencies and project success. A specific example or clearer explanation of how international experience improves business outcomes would make the response more convincing and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on employees and companies, and a conclusion. The progression from individual benefits to business benefits is easy to follow, and signposts such as “From the staff viewpoint,” “Furthermore,” and “Therefore” help show relationships between ideas. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some flexibility in organising the discussion. However, several links feel mechanical, and the conclusion repeats the idea that both parties benefit rather than drawing the argument together. Some references are also unclear, such as “their” in the opening and “the companies projects,” which makes the reader pause. Use more precise referencing and connect examples directly to the claims they support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “adaptable,” “working environment,” “strategies,” and “knowledge.” There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “resistant to change” and “horizon of knowledge.” However, several choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “continue work from their,” “get expose,” and “increase the horizon of knowledge.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning less clear, and repeated use of “skills,” “employees,” and “companies” limits flexibility. Aim for more natural combinations such as “gain international experience,” “be exposed to different practices,” and “broaden employees’ expertise,” while checking word forms and spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and result structures: “When an employee works…,” “As a result…,” and “which may lead…”. This gives the response some variety, and the main message remains understandable. However, some grammatical errors recur in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “When a person work” needs subject–verb agreement, while “he/she get expose” has errors in both the verb form and passive construction. Phrases such as “for particular period of time” also need an article. Review these patterns and aim to produce more consistently accurate complex sentences; clearer control of these forms would strengthen the response.
