Student answer (Band 6.0)

In todays modern world many big international organizations give an opportunity to the employees to spend some time for working in another country to enhance skills of their workers and build positive relationship with other companies. I believe that this is good development in terms of opportunities for office workers and for company growth as well. This essay will discuss how it is a good opportunity for workers and also discuss its beneficial effects on companies.

To give a chance to go another country's organization for company work is a significant opportunity for workers. The first and foremost reason for this is that it give them a chance to enhance their skills more by working there. Moreover, larger companies which offer this option to their employees lead to develop good relationship with others workers and also help them in learning perspectives about their projects from their senior co-worker. For example, the staff who have to spend time in various organizations in other countries have more confidence in terms of dealings or learn how to present infront of company panel.

Furthermore, the most significant advantage is that it increases the growth of a company and also helps to develop greater popularity on a larger scale. Additionally, it leads to development of fame internationally and other international organizations want to collaborate with your company thus it leads to good economical growth. For instance, in Pakistan many large companies have developed good partnership with American companies and have been earning more money and respect.

In conclusion, it is good thing to give an opportunity to their workers to spend period of time living and working in another state in terms of individual as well as company's growth. I believe this is a excellent change within companies and it should be continued for development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and maintain a clear, positive view of overseas placements. For employees, you identify skill development, confidence and learning from colleagues; for companies, you discuss international reputation, partnerships and economic growth. The examples about presenting to a company panel and Pakistani firms partnering with American companies help make the points relevant. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained: for instance, the link between working abroad and “good economical growth” could be clarified, and the employee benefits could include a more specific account of how international experience improves future work. Developing these points more fully and distinguishing the benefits to employees from those to employers would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. The progression is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help readers recognise the stages of the argument. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. However, several transitions feel formulaic, and links between ideas are occasionally unclear. For example, the sentence about building relationships with “other workers” and learning from a “senior co-worker” combines related but distinct benefits without explaining their connection. Use clearer referencing and vary the way you connect supporting explanations and examples.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “enhance their skills,” “collaborate,” “partnership,” and “internationally.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and the response attempts some less common expressions. However, word choice and collocation are often imprecise, which limits clarity and naturalness. Phrases such as “good economical growth,” “develop greater popularity,” and “learning perspectives about their projects” do not express the intended ideas idiomatically. There are also spelling and form issues, including “todays” and “infront.” Aim to learn vocabulary in natural combinations and check spelling and word forms; more precise phrasing would make your argument sound clearer and more assured.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “which” and “that,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some sentences are controlled, such as “For instance, in Pakistan many large companies have developed good partnership with American companies.” However, there are some recurring errors in agreement, articles and sentence construction. Examples include “it give them a chance,” “it is a excellent change,” and “To give a chance to go another country's organization,” where the grammatical relationships are difficult to follow. Review subject–verb agreement and article use, and simplify sentences when several ideas are being joined. Greater accuracy across these structures would make the response smoother.
