Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both questions: employee benefits include learning languages, improving communication and confidence, and gaining overseas work experience; company benefits include access to skilled staff and learning new working methods. However, these points are mostly listed rather than explained or supported with a relevant example, and some claims—such as companies earning more money—need a clearer link to international placements. The response is also 241 words, below the required 250-word minimum; the nine words copied from the task prompt are not counted. This shortfall, together with limited development of the ideas, means the task is only partially addressed. To strengthen the response, explain how one employee benefit and one company benefit arise, then support each with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic, the next paragraph focuses mainly on employees, and later sentences discuss companies. However, the progression is difficult to follow because employee and company benefits are mixed together, and the final paragraph repeats points about overseas experience and different cultures rather than advancing the discussion. Linking words such as “Also,” “because,” and “And” are used, but connections between ideas are often unclear; for example, “Great team is an automatically achivenment for a companie” is not clearly linked to the preceding point. Use separate, focused paragraphs for each question, and connect each benefit to its explanation with clear referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “confidence,” “working experience,” “skills,” and “different backgrounds,” so the reader can identify the main subject. However, the vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with “great” and “different kind of” appearing repeatedly. Several spelling errors, including “empoyees,” “expeiences,” and “benifical,” make the writing less clear and reduce control of vocabulary. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “work in abroad” and “upgrade companies working experiences.” Build a more precise range for discussing international work, and check spelling and collocations carefully. For instance, describe how employees “develop professional skills” and how companies “benefit from a more experienced workforce.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts some longer sentences, for example, “by interacting with different kind of peoples we can learn different kind of languages,” but most structures remain simple or are joined without clear grammatical control. Errors in sentence formation and agreement occur frequently: “this will make more opportunities” lacks a clear grammatical construction, while “people who are living in aborad are haveing” combines incompatible verb forms. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and prepositions, as in “work in abroad” and “different kind of people.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including the lowercase “this” after the opening sentence and run-on sentences. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” or “so that.”
