Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both questions and maintain a clear position: overseas assignments benefit employees through career and personal development, while companies gain a more capable workforce and stronger recruitment. Relevant explanations include cross-cultural communication, language learning, and employees sharing international practices with local teams. However, some points are asserted rather than fully developed; for example, the link between learning a language and building confidence could be explained with a specific consequence or example. The response also falls 16 words short of the required minimum, limiting the space available to extend these ideas. To strengthen the response, add a concrete example and explain more fully how each benefit arises.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.5

The response is organised clearly into an introduction, separate paragraphs for employees and companies, and a conclusion. Its progression is easy to follow, and signposting such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps distinguish the main stages of the argument. Within paragraphs, ideas generally move from a benefit to its explanation. To make cohesion more flexible, reduce reliance on formulaic transitions and connect related points more directly. For instance, the sentence about adapting to a new culture could lead into the point about language learning as another aspect of personal development. The phrase “When employees return” also provides a clear link between overseas experience and its benefit to the company.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.5

You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “international work experience,” “cross-cultural communication,” “globally competent workforce,” and “prospective job applicants.” These phrases communicate the main ideas effectively, and some choices show an attempt to be precise. However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce accuracy, including “foriegn,” “envirenment,” and “thr future.” There are also awkward collocations or forms, such as “experience new lifestyle” and “sending their staff to abroad.” Aim to check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships as complete phrases. More precise vocabulary for the effects on employees and organisations would also help you express the ideas with greater flexibility.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including subordinate clauses such as “When individuals adapt to a new working culture…” and “which allows the firm to recruit top talent easily.” Most sentences remain understandable, and the errors do not prevent the reader from following your argument. Some grammatical inaccuracies persist, however: “enables worker to learn” needs a plural or article, “which helps in personal growth and build self-confidence” has a faulty parallel structure, and “a mutually beneficial” is incomplete because the adjective needs a noun. There are also agreement and article issues in phrases such as “build more globally competent workforce.” Review articles, plural forms, and parallel verb structures, while continuing to use complex sentences.
