Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modern epoch, it is true that huge organisations usually allow their employees to reside and to work from a foreign country. It is mainly because the companies would think that the workers work efficiently while residing outside of their home countries. Eventually, companies would have certain benefits such as, reduced labour cost.
To start with, employees have an opportunity of exploring world and working side by side. It is not only interesting but also beneficial for their personal and professional growth. When they stay in a different country, they feel rejuvinated and fresh, meaning they could efficiently work for their companies, and provide accurate results. The best example could be, SAP- a software company often offers a trip to the United States every year to its employees. By doing this, workers can work from their home by staying with their family and visiting the nearby attractions in the USA.
For the organisations, the trend of working from home in a foreign country could drastically improve its workload. When the workers have fresh mindset and stress-free environment, they tend to focus more and distract less. They can provide with extra work when needed. Nevertheless, the companies might have to pay significant amount for its employees' stay during the trip, and its drawbacks cannot be overlooked.
To conclude, although this development might be expensive for some organisations, it proves as more advantageous for plenty of things. It has many compelling reasons for both the companies and the professionals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions by discussing employees’ personal and professional growth and companies’ potential gains from more focused, productive staff. The example of SAP gives the response some relevant support. However, the explanation of why employees benefit remains general, and the company advantages are not fully established: “improve its workload” is unclear, while “provide with extra work” does not explain a concrete organisational benefit. The opening also introduces reduced labour costs, but this point is not developed later. The conclusion is broad rather than a clear summary of the two answers. The response is three words below the required minimum, so it does not meet the task’s length requirement. Develop each benefit with a clear explanation and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for employees and organisations, and a conclusion. This makes the main stages easy to identify. Some progression is less clear within paragraphs, however: the SAP example shifts from an annual trip to working from home abroad and visiting attractions, without clearly showing how this arrangement supports the earlier point about growth. Linking phrases such as “To start with” and “To conclude” help, but “Nevertheless” introduces a drawback that is not connected clearly to the preceding claim about productivity. The conclusion also repeats a general judgement rather than bringing the two strands together. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and make each paragraph follow a consistent point–explanation–example sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including phrases such as “personal and professional growth,” “stress-free environment,” and “compelling reasons.” These help communicate the main ideas, and attempts at more formal vocabulary are evident. Some choices are inaccurate or unnatural, though: “improve its workload” does not express the intended benefit clearly, and “provide with extra work” is an awkward construction. “Exploring world” and “rejuvenated” (spelled “rejuvinated”) also need more natural wording or accurate spelling. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall message, but they limit precision. Focus on common business collocations and check spelling; for example, describe improved productivity or output rather than an improved workload.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and complex forms, including a conditional-style explanation with “When they stay in a different country” and a contrast introduced by “although.” Most sentences remain understandable, but some grammatical errors and punctuation slips are present. For example, “an opportunity of exploring world” is missing an article before “world,” and “the companies might have to pay significant amount” needs an article before “significant amount.” In “They can provide with extra work,” the verb pattern is incomplete because it needs an object or a different construction. There is also a missing space after the comma in “Nevertheless, the.” Review articles and verb patterns, and proofread punctuation. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen control.
