Student answer (Band 6.0)

Due to globalization, international companies are expanding their business in diffrent countries and giving their workers chance to work in another country for a certain period. This opportunity will bring positive impact for employees as well as companies. I will discuss both views in upcoming paraghraphs.

There are some benifits that employee will get working in diffrent nation. Firstly, personal growth can be seen while working in another contry. In detail, individuals can learn diffrent skills, technics which can be work related or personal. Personal could be cooking, developing new hobbies and so on. Secondly, staff will get foreign exposure which can change their living lifestyle. They will have a chance to explore new culture and their food as well. Also, worker will get a opportunity to explore famous places and will learn about that spot which will improve their knowledge.

Thirdly, staff will increase work related contact internatinally while working in another contry. As a result, they will have more options and chance to work for a same organisation but on upper level position and may get a chance to work permenent for that country.

By sending staff to work and live in other part of the world will be also beneficial for company. First and foremost, workers will not leave a job as they are getting suffcient growth and opportunity to work in another nation. As a reult, company will improve worker satisfaction level and overall growth of the organisation. Besides that, more fresher and experinced people will attract towards this company as they are providing good opportunities to their workers. Eventually, company will grow more as compare to other in same field.

To sum up, sending worker outside will beneficial for staff to improve self growth, information and knowledge. Companies can also get a positive response as less people will leave a job and more growth can be seen in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question and maintain a clear, relevant position that the arrangement benefits employees and companies. Employee advantages include personal development, cultural exposure and international contacts; for companies, you explain improved retention, satisfaction and recruitment. These points are appropriate, but some are less fully developed than others. For example, “personal growth” is supported with examples such as learning skills and exploring culture, while the claim that staff may reach “upper level position” is not explained or illustrated. The company benefits are also asserted rather than supported with a specific example or a clear explanation of how overseas experience improves organisational performance. Develop each main point with a cause-and-effect explanation or a relevant example to make the response more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Thirdly,” and “To sum up” help readers identify the progression. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. However, the repeated list-style transitions make the writing somewhat mechanical, and several ideas within the employee paragraph are joined without a clear relationship. The phrase “As a result” is used to connect international contacts to career opportunities, but the link could be explained more fully. Use a wider range of linking methods and make connections between claims and explanations more explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “globalization,” “foreign exposure,” “worker satisfaction,” and “organisation.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors reduce precision. Examples include “diffrent,” “benifits,” “internatinally,” and “permenent,” as well as unnatural phrases such as “work related contact” and “as compare to other.” Some wording is also repetitive, particularly “chance” and “opportunity.” These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall message, but they make parts of the response less natural. Build a more accurate range of collocations and check spelling carefully; for instance, describe “international professional networks” and “career advancement” rather than relying on general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures such as “As a result” and clauses beginning with “as.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction, articles, agreement and verb patterns. For example, “giving their workers chance” needs an article, while “By sending staff … will be also beneficial” has an incomplete construction: the opening phrase does not connect correctly to the main clause. In “Companies can also get a positive response,” the intended meaning is not expressed clearly through the sentence structure. Work on forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check articles and singular/plural agreement. More accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentence attempts easier to read.
