Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been seen that a lot of multinational companies provides people with the oppotunity to live and at the same time work in different countries. This essay will speak about the opportunity an employee gets to explore different work culture and people around them. It will also focus on how companies can extract the best from their workers by sending them to work in different parts of world.
When a person gets of work in different environment, he or she learns things which they would have not learnt elsewhere. Working with people from different culture, helps an individual to see things with broader perespective. For an example, people from some countries, won't mind working overtime with not extra benefits. Whereas, it is considered as an offence in other places. Moreover, while you are working in other countries, you get an opportunity to explore different tourist spots, culture and history of that country.
It directly influences the worker in a positive way. They get more productive, have more ideas to share and gives a broader solutions to the problems. This positive attitude on a worker helps company to run smoother and brings out the efficiency from their employees. Also, when a person works in different environment, it is useful for the companies as they pass on their experience to there fellow mates which results in a strong team. The more exposure a team gets, more productive the workers can become.
In conclusion, it is benificial for both the companies and the workers to switch countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses both questions: it explains employee benefits through exposure to different cultures and work practices, and company benefits through increased productivity, new ideas, and knowledge-sharing with colleagues. These points are relevant, and the example contrasting attitudes to overtime helps illustrate cultural differences. However, the employee benefits are developed more clearly than the company advantages, which are mostly asserted—for example, that workers become “more productive” and help a company “run smoother” without a specific explanation or example of how overseas experience produces these outcomes. The conclusion restates the general benefit but does not add much. To strengthen the response, explain each main advantage through a clear cause-and-effect link and include a concrete workplace example for the company-focused points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. The reader can follow the main progression from cultural learning to workplace gains, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Also,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships. However, some connections are mechanical or imprecise. The opening says what the essay “will speak about,” rather than presenting the main points directly, and “It directly influences the worker” has an unclear reference. The move from cultural learning to tourism also weakens the paragraph’s focus on work-related benefits. Improve cohesion by using clearer topic sentences, making pronoun references explicit, and ensuring each supporting point develops the paragraph’s central idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses a relevant range of vocabulary, including “multinational companies,” “broader perspective,” “productive,” “efficiency,” and “exposure.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and some phrases show an attempt to discuss workplace and cultural concepts. However, several word-choice and collocation problems reduce precision, such as “extract the best from their workers,” “broader solutions,” and “brings out the efficiency.” There are also spelling errors, including “oppotunity,” “perespective,” and “benificial,” alongside imprecise wording such as “switch countries.” Aim for more natural collocations and accurate spelling, and choose terms that express the intended relationship precisely—for example, how international experience can improve employees’ skills or support collaboration.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and relative structures such as “When a person gets of work in different environment” and “which they would have not learnt elsewhere.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in “companies provides” and “they…gives”; articles and plurals are also problematic in “different environment” and “different culture.” The sentence beginning “For an example” is punctuated awkwardly, and the comma after “culture” interrupts the subject and verb. Work on agreement, article use, and sentence boundaries, then proofread punctuation. More accurate control of these patterns would make the existing range of sentence structures clearer and more effective.
