Nowadays many international companies offer their staff to spend a period of time living and working in another countries, it has huge advantage to the staff as it can help them to grow more professionally as well as an advantage for the companies to grow or expand their business else where.

One major benefit of sending employee to a different country is that they can gain more experience and increase their knowledge as they have exposure to different kind of technologies, work culture and working practice. It also help the employees to gain more confidence as well as it open's the door of promotion and it also helps them in gaining broader world wide view. It also helps them to learn each other culture and how they function on different kind of situation. Other benefit of sending employee to other country is they can help the business to expand in that country by learning or knowing how to function there. Employees who are already working there can help a company better understand the market situation by letting the company know if it can withstand the market. Secondly, employee who are returning from overseas can help train the employees in the company as it will improve company's performance and help in innovation as well. For example, when marriot had to open a new branch they do not rely completely on local hire instead they bring in experience manager and help the business start there.

In conclusion, it is an advantage for both employee and a business to send an employee overseas as it will not only help the company but also themselves by gaining more experience and confidence also.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both parts of the question and maintain a clear view that overseas assignments benefit employees and businesses. The employee benefits—greater experience, confidence, cultural understanding and career prospects—are relevant, as are the company benefits of learning about a market, training colleagues and supporting expansion. The India-to-Canada and Marriott examples help illustrate these points. This meets the lower-band expectation of covering the task, and the range of relevant ideas shows some movement towards fuller development. However, several claims are asserted rather than explained: for instance, clarify how exposure to different work practices improves an employee’s performance, or how market knowledge helps a company decide whether expansion is viable. More precise, developed examples would strengthen the response further.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph on employee benefits, one on company benefits, and a conclusion. The reader can follow the main progression, and signposts such as “One major benefit,” “Other benefit,” and “In conclusion” make the paragraph purposes clear. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical because “also” and “help” recur frequently, and several ideas are joined in long sentences without clear relationships. In the first body paragraph, for example, confidence, promotion, a wider view and cultural learning are listed in sequence rather than grouped and developed. Use a wider range of linking and referencing, and make sentence-to-sentence connections more explicit, to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “work culture,” “market situation,” “innovation,” “promotion” and “career prospect.” Some choices show an attempt to express specific concepts, such as employees gaining exposure to different technologies and helping a company understand a new market. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “help,” “different” and “gain,” while several collocations or forms are inaccurate: “huge advantage,” “broader world wide view,” “with divers background” and “career prospect.” These do not usually prevent understanding, but they reduce precision and naturalness. Build a bank of accurate business and career collocations, and check spelling and word forms when proofreading.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses with “as,” “by” and “when,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. Some sentences are controlled, such as “Employees who are already working there can help a company better understand the market situation.” However, some errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, plurals and punctuation remain. The opening joins two independent clauses with a comma, while “it also help” and “it open’s” show subject–verb agreement problems. Other examples include “in another countries” and “when marriot had to open a new branch they do not rely,” where number and tense are inconsistent. Review these patterns and divide long sentences where needed; greater accuracy across the range would make the argument easier to read.
