Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses both questions in a general way: it mentions employees’ enjoyment, learning and personal growth, and suggests that companies benefit when staff share experience and skills. The example of an IT worker in the USA is relevant, but it is vague and does not show clearly how the employee’s learning improves the company. The company advantages are also only briefly stated, particularly “employee satisfaction and retention,” which is not explained. Some points are difficult to interpret, such as the claim that only a person with “that potential” would be appointed to work abroad. To strengthen the response, explain each advantage with a clear cause-and-effect link and develop a specific example for both employees and companies.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic overall structure, with an opening, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Firstly” and “In conclusion” help indicate stages. However, progression within the paragraphs is often unclear. The first body paragraph shifts from employee happiness to company growth without explaining the connection, while the second repeats the idea of sharing knowledge and moves abruptly to satisfaction and retention. References such as “them” and “that company” do not always make the intended people or organisation clear. Use topic sentences that identify one main advantage, then develop it in a logical sequence; reduce repeated points and make links between ideas explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses a limited but relevant set of vocabulary, including “experience,” “knowledge,” “globally,” “satisfaction” and “retention.” These terms show an attempt to discuss workplace benefits, but ideas are often expressed through repeated general words such as “help,” “grow” and “things,” which limits precision. Several word choices or collocations are unclear, for example “spend their lives also,” “a companies growth” and “shares his thaught.” Spelling errors such as “benfits,” “compeny” and “amanger” also make the writing less clear. Build a more precise workplace vocabulary and check spelling, word forms and natural combinations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writing relies mainly on simple sentence patterns, with some attempts to connect ideas using “if,” “because” and “while.” However, errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “people who working” lacks a correctly formed verb, “they are giving opportunity” has problems with both verb form and article use, and “he will shares” uses an incorrect verb form. Subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “company get benefit from them” and the fragment “Mostly. will help person to grow individually.” Practise forming complete sentences, checking subject–verb agreement, and using consistent verb patterns before adding more complex structures.
