Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is irrefutable that nowadays big companies giving opportunities to their workers to work overseas.
While working and living in different nation, gives them chance them to learn new skills, such as communication skills, which helps them to devlop their carrier. This trend has a lot of positive advantages for the organisation and employee as well.
The chance to work in a different nation provide a lot of benefits for the worker. While working in a different nation, they can learn about the different work culture of differernt nation, later which they can apply in his country. Furthermore, there might be a chance that he can learn about the new technology, which might be not available in his nation. By learning the new technology, they can introduce that technology in his nation, without any issue. For example, a famous Indian company "Semins" send their employee to Japan to learn the micro-chip technology, so they can learn any new devlopments in the micro-chip and implement it in India.
On the other hand, this trend will helps an organisation to be on a top position. There will a healthy competition between the staff to give their best and get a chance to work overseas. Every employee will be focused to their work and work for a common goal. Moreover, a company can save huge amount of money by sending some employee to work overseas and learn their skills. Despite sending huge large number of people companies can select some remarkable talant and send them overseas, later they come back and teach the skills to other employees that they learn while working overseas.
In conclusion, working overseas has benefical for both organisation and employee.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses both questions and maintains a relevant focus on the benefits of overseas work. For employees, it identifies learning about different work cultures and gaining access to new technology; for companies, it discusses staff motivation, competition, and sharing newly acquired skills. The example of an Indian company sending an employee to Japan helps illustrate the technology point. This coverage is strong, but some ideas are not fully explained: for instance, the link between overseas opportunities and a “healthy competition” is asserted rather than developed, and the claimed cost savings are unclear. The conclusion restates the overall benefit but does not draw together the main reasons. More precise explanation and support would make the response more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on employee benefits, a paragraph on company benefits, and a conclusion. The transition “On the other hand” signals the shift to the second question, while “Furthermore” and “Moreover” help add points. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. In the employee paragraph, “later which they can apply in his country” makes the relationship between learning and applying knowledge difficult to follow, and the repeated reference to “different nation” limits flow. The company paragraph also moves from competition to cost savings and then staff training without clearly showing how these points relate. Use clearer referencing and explain the links between ideas to improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work culture,” “technology,” “healthy competition,” and “common goal.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and there is some attempt to use more specific terms such as “micro-chip technology.” However, the range and control are uneven: “different nation” is repeated, while phrases such as “huge large number” and “on a top position” are unnatural or imprecise. Spelling errors, including “devlop,” “differernt,” “carrier,” and “talant,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural collocations and check spelling and word forms; this will make the argument clearer and more polished without requiring unnecessarily complex vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay attempts both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “which,” and “so,” and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. For example, “big companies giving opportunities” lacks a finite verb, “The chance … provide” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “this trend will helps” combines incompatible verb forms. The opening “While working and living in different nation, gives them chance them…” is also structurally incomplete. Articles and pronouns are sometimes unclear, as in “in his country” after referring to workers generally. Practise building complete clauses and checking agreement and pronoun consistency, while retaining the complex structures you attempt.
