Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses both questions and maintains a relevant focus: it explains that employees can experience other cultures, meet people and develop communication skills, while companies may promote their products and learn about foreign markets. These points are appropriate, and the India-to-Canada example helps illustrate the employee benefits. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the link between learning market strategies and helping a company remain successful is mentioned but not developed with a specific explanation or example. The company benefits also receive less detail than the employee benefits. To strengthen the response, explain how each advantage produces a practical outcome and support the company-focused points with a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The essay has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on employees, a paragraph on companies and a conclusion. Signposting such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” makes the main stages easy to follow. This gives the response coherent progression, and the two sides of the question are separated appropriately. However, some linking is mechanical, with repeated “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “In addition,” and a few connections between ideas are not fully clear. The long example sentence beginning “For example, an employee who come from India” is difficult to follow because several points are joined together. Use a wider range of natural links and divide complex explanations into clearer sentences; also make references such as “which” unambiguous.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The response uses enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate its main ideas, including “culture and traditions,” “communication,” “market strategies” and “products and services.” It also attempts less common expressions such as “expand” and “economic condition.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “opporunity,” “knewledge,” “cordiante” and “aborad.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “a plethora of merits” and “stay for longer period of time in the market.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than more elaborate wording, and proofread spelling carefully. Building a reliable set of phrases for discussing international work, employee development and business growth would improve precision and flexibility.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses with “while,” “because” and “which,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, control is inconsistent, especially in longer sentences. For example, “when employees work in foreign countries than they meet with new people” has an incorrect comparative structure, while “an employee who come from India” has a subject–verb agreement error. The conclusion also begins with the awkward construction “living and working in another country, it is not only beneficial,” which makes the sentence structure unclear. There are further issues with articles, plurals and verb forms. Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, checking agreement and article use, and splitting sentences when several ideas make the structure difficult to control.
