Student answer (Band 5.0)

At present, It has been observed that many bigger firms offer their employees an opportunity to work and live abroad. Well, i feel this as a huge advantage specifically for the employees and I will how this impact them in the next paragraph.

While working and living abroad comes up with lots of benefits. For instance, developed nations offers competitive wages which would not be possible to earn in one's country. Secondly, there are cultural and background differences which gives the employees to connect and learn about diversity.

Moreover, environment, for example, if someone is working in India and a city like delhi which falls under the world's one of the most polluted cities so far and which degrades the health in a worse way as possible and suppose if someone is living and working like countries canada and Usa, they have clean air and according to the recent survey, people residing in these countries lives more than the people who are living in India or any other polluted country.

On the other hand, companies also make certain developments while sending out their employees to a different country. For instancer, employees will learn new skills and technology which is not available in theiir own country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: employee benefits include higher wages, cultural learning and a healthier environment, while the company benefit is that staff may gain new skills and technology. These are relevant points, but the response only partially develops the task. The company side is especially brief, and the claim that employees learn technology is not explained with a concrete example or a clear link to how the company benefits. The opening also promises to explain the impact but does not establish a clear overall position. The response is 45 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your ideas. Add specific examples and explain the benefits to both employees and employers more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation: the response moves from an introduction to employee benefits and then to company benefits, and signposts such as “For instance,” “Secondly,” and “On the other hand” help show the intended structure. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven. The long example about pollution combines several points in one sentence, making the relationship between the example and the main argument harder to follow. The company paragraph ends after one brief point, so the discussion feels incomplete. Some linking phrases are used mechanically rather than to show precise relationships. Use clearer paragraph development: state one main idea, explain it, and then give a focused example. A fuller conclusion would also help the response feel complete.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “competitive wages,” “cultural and background differences,” “diversity,” and “polluted cities.” This gives you enough range to communicate the main ideas, and some choices are appropriate to a formal essay. However, several phrases are awkward or imprecise, such as “comes up with lots of benefits,” “make certain developments,” and “learn new skills and technology.” There are also spelling and form errors, including “instancer” and “theiir,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural collocations and precise wording, especially when describing company gains. For example, explain whether employees transfer expertise, build international networks, or help the company adapt to a new market.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if someone is working in India,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur in phrases such as “developed nations offers,” “differences which gives,” and “people residing in these countries lives.” Sentence boundaries are also a concern: the pollution example runs on for a long time, with several clauses joined without clear punctuation, which makes it difficult to follow. Capitalisation is inconsistent in “It” and “i.” Practise checking subject–verb agreement and breaking long sentences into shorter, complete units. More accurate control of these patterns, alongside a wider range of reliably formed sentences, would make your meaning clearer.
