Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and maintain a relevant focus: employees can gain experience in different working environments, while companies may benefit from improved productivity. The examples about learning communication and teamwork across nationalities help explain the employee benefits. However, the company advantages are less fully developed: productivity and company growth are mentioned, but the response does not explain in detail how overseas experience translates into measurable gains or other benefits, such as stronger international collaboration. The TCS example is relevant, though it mainly illustrates the opportunity rather than its outcomes. To strengthen the response, develop each main idea with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and a specific supporting example. The response contains 251 words, including 9 words copied from the task prompt, which were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing is generally clear, and signposts such as “To commence with” and “Furthermore” show the intended progression. However, connections between ideas can feel mechanical, and some references are unclear: “that can be helpful” does not identify precisely what “that” refers to, while “Meanwhile that takes company towards the success” is an awkward final link. The second paragraph also combines several employee benefits without clearly prioritising or connecting them. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make links explicit—for example, explain how learning new techniques leads to improved performance before moving to the company benefit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main points, including “work environment,” “communication skills,” “work productivity,” and “modern techniques.” There are also attempts at less common phrasing, such as “designated companies,” but some choices are inaccurate or unnatural and reduce precision. Examples include “various work culture,” “visaversa,” “work trip,” and “explore another nations.” Repetition of “employees,” “work,” and “beneficial” also limits the range. Aim for accurate collocations and more precise terms, such as “workplace cultures,” “overseas assignment,” and “apply their expertise.” Proofread spelling and word forms, and choose vocabulary that expresses the intended relationship rather than relying on broad phrases such as “company’s growth.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “Since” and a result structure with “As a result.” The main ideas remain understandable, but errors in sentence construction, articles, agreement, and punctuation occur across the response. For example, “Since, employees learn…” is an incorrectly punctuated fragment, and “This opportunity makes employees learn” uses an awkward causative pattern. In “each year TCS company offers their employees,” the article and pronoun agreement need attention; “improves” in “Working abroad for a limited time, improves…” is also incorrectly separated from its subject by a comma. Practise complete clauses, subject–verb agreement, and article use, then check punctuation around introductory phrases.
