Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses both questions and maintains a relevant focus: it explains employee benefits through international experience and exposure to technology, then discusses knowledge transfer, morale and global expansion for companies. The Pakistan–China example helps illustrate the employee point. This meets the core task requirements, but the two sides are not equally developed: employee benefits are described mainly as experience and technology, while the company benefits are listed more broadly without a specific example showing how they improve performance. Some claims, such as “high incentives,” are introduced without explanation. To strengthen the response, explain the practical effects of each benefit—for instance, how overseas experience improves an employee’s future responsibilities or helps a company adapt a product to local customers.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure, moving from an introduction to employee benefits, company advantages and a conclusion. Paragraphing makes the two parts of the question easy to identify, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help signal progression. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “Other than that” does not clearly show how the next point relates to the first, and “Which in turn increasing the company's progress” is a fragment that interrupts the flow. The shift from employee morale to global expansion also needs a clearer explanation. Use more precise links between cause and result, and ensure each paragraph develops one connected line of reasoning rather than presenting several benefits as a list.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response attempts a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “knowledge transfer,” “consumer markets,” “adaptable workforce” and “international assignments.” These choices show an effort to discuss the subject beyond basic terms. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent enough to make some phrases awkward or less clear, such as “compinies,” “rapidally,” “extinsive” and “enlights.” There are also unnatural collocations, including “uplift the company values” and “high incentives.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe employees as gaining “international experience” and companies as “strengthening their competitiveness.” This would make the vocabulary more precise while retaining the useful range already attempted.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and more complex structures, including a conditional example (“if a person relocate…”) and a participial phrase about understanding consumer markets. However, control is limited, and errors occur often enough to affect clarity. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in “he also gain” and “a person relocate”; the opening sentence also lacks a space after the full stop, and “This essay will discuss how fosters…” is missing a clear subject and object. Sentence fragments such as “Which in turn increasing…” further weaken accuracy. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and correctly matched verb, and check articles, plurals and verb forms. More accurate control of these patterns would make the complex ideas easier to follow.
