Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response identifies relevant benefits for employees, especially learning another language and experiencing life in a different country, and briefly signals a possible company benefit: gaining skills that local employees may lack. However, it addresses the task only partially. The employee advantages are not fully explained, and the company question receives only one undeveloped point, with no example or explanation of how the skills would help the business. The response also ends mid-sentence at “which make them to experience,” so the second employee idea is incomplete. The stated length requirement is not met: the response contains 117 words against the required minimum of 250. Develop both parts of the question with clear reasons and relevant examples, and complete the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: an opening paragraph introduces the topic, and the next paragraph begins to explain employee benefits. Phrases such as “The first benefit” and “Moreover” indicate how the ideas are intended to relate. However, there is no clear overall progression because the response stops before completing its second paragraph and does not develop a separate discussion of company advantages. The link between the opening claim about companies gaining skills and the later explanation is not established. The final sentence is unfinished, which disrupts the flow. Use a clear paragraph for each part of the question, complete each idea before moving on, and use linking phrases to show the relationship between reasons and outcomes.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses a basic but relevant range of vocabulary, including “multinational corporations,” “communicate effectively,” “multi-lingual,” and “settle easily.” These choices show an attempt to discuss work and international experience, but the range is limited and some spelling, word-form, and collocation errors are noticeable. Examples include “multinantional,” “diffetrent,” “live and work in foreign,” and “different life-style.” These errors do not prevent the main ideas from being understood, though they reduce precision and naturalness. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for workplace benefits and cultural adjustment, and check spelling and collocations carefully. For example, “in a foreign country” is more natural than “in foreign.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and complex sentences, such as “Employees have to learn new language to communicate effectively in other country which eventually make them multi-lingual.” This shows an effort to explain cause and result, but control is inconsistent. Agreement errors occur in “This trend also bring” and “which eventually make”; article use is also inaccurate in “learn new language” and “in other country.” The final sentence, “Moreover, They have to live and work there which make them to experience,” is incomplete and contains faulty clause construction. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, although the main message remains understandable. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete complex sentences, then proofread punctuation and sentence endings.
