Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, many multinational companies provide their staff with the oppertunity to spend a specific period of time in foreign countries. This arrangement can be very valuable for both employee and employer, as it promotes professional development and strengthens international business affairs.
Moreover the employes who are entitled to go and live in other countries gain further experince in their carrier. They become more expert in their work. They become more expert to manage clients from different cultures. They learn more about the policies of the company. They gain advanced skills and knowledge about their field. They live with other people and learn about their cultural values. As a result, they can broaden their knowledge and become more adaptable in their carrier.
On the other hand, companies who send their employees reep more benifits. When these employees return to work, they are more proficient. They deal clients more effectively and the level of satisfaction in customers is increased. Their colleagues work hard to achieve such oppertunity. They learn from them. Some companies hire these employees to teach the knowledge to other workers. For explample if any company based in Pakistan sends its employe to united states of America to live there and learn their practices. working in different countries exposes individuals to unfamiliar working practices.
In conclusion, working abroad enables people to enhance their skills , cultural awarenessand carrier opprtunities. while companies benefit from knowledge sharing, improved management and stronger international operations. Therefore this arrangement can be mutually adventageous when it is properly planned and supported.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a clear, relevant position: overseas placements can develop employees and benefit employers. The employee paragraph identifies professional learning, cultural awareness and adaptability, while the company paragraph mentions improved customer relations, knowledge-sharing and stronger international operations. These are appropriate points, but some are asserted rather than explained. For example, “They become more expert in their work” and “They gain advanced skills” repeat the general benefit without showing how a placement produces it. The Pakistan–United States example is also unfinished and does not clearly illustrate a specific company advantage. Develop fewer points with a concrete explanation or example for each, especially on how international experience improves company performance.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs on employee and company benefits, and a conclusion that summarises both sides. Transitions such as “Moreover,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the structure. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and ideas within paragraphs are not always developed in a clear sequence. The repeated short statements—“They become more expert,” “They learn more,” and “They gain”—make the employee paragraph feel list-like. The example beginning “For example if any company…” shifts abruptly into a general statement about unfamiliar practices. Group related points, use clearer links showing cause and effect, and ensure examples directly support the point immediately before them.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “professional development,” “cultural values,” “proficient,” “customer satisfaction,” and “international operations.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and some attempts at more specific language are appropriate. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, including “oppertunity,” “experince,” “carrier,” “ree[p] more benefits,” and “deal clients.” Some wording is also repetitive, particularly “more expert” and “learn.” Aim for accurate forms such as “expertise” or “more skilled,” and use natural collocations such as “serve clients” or “handle client relationships.” A broader set of precise verbs and careful proofreading would make the vocabulary more controlled and effective.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple sentences and some longer structures, including the opening clause “as it promotes professional development” and the conditional example beginning “if any company…”. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors and punctuation problems reduce accuracy. For instance, “They become more expert to manage clients” has an incorrect grammatical pattern, while “companies who send their employees” uses an unsuitable relative construction for companies. The example sentence is fragmented and runs into “working in different countries exposes individuals…”, making the relationship between ideas unclear. There are also missing spaces after sentence punctuation and inconsistent capitalisation. Practise building complete complex sentences with clear clauses, and check articles, prepositions, and sentence boundaries during revision.
