Student answer (Band 6.0)
From last few decades there have been enormous changes in the way people's lives are affected by work opportunities at abroad. Recent years have witnessed much discussion revolving around the issue whether the global jobs are better for employees and how they can be beneficial. To my way of thinking having arisen from numerous causes, I believe international opportunities offer advancements into the careers of job seekers. I will discuss my thoughts in upcoming paragraphs.
It is widely acknowledged that individuals who work outside their countries have better approach to work openings and for financial stability. People can be habitual to work in different environments and can polish their skills. For example, if someone is working in Canada can get the opportunity to attract with the people of different cultural groups. It is true to say that folks who prefer to work at abroad can earn an abudance amount of funds as compare to their home country. To illustrate, an employee who choose to work in the USA can earn a significant higher amount compared to the one working in India because of the currency exchange rates.
On the other hand, it offer plenty of advantages to the multinational companies as well as they can attract global talent and can hire the most adequate folks according to their needs. For instance, Google and Microsoft are the companies who accumulate their staff from all over the world as they want the best individuals which sometimes can not be occupied from the USA. More factually valuable argument can be that organizations can expand their businesses through out the world because they can seek help from foreigner staff. They can facilitate them about the environmental and public needs of the particular area. To exemplify, Tim Hortons the Canadian brand has been able for their expansion in India owing to their ties with locally employed staff.
In conclusion, I must once again reaffirm my portion that no doubt global jobs provide several benefits to the companies along with their employees which bring alot of financial support and significant amount of job availibility.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses both questions and maintains a clear overall view that overseas work benefits employees and companies. The employee paragraph gives relevant points about developing skills in different environments and earning more, supported by examples involving Canada and the USA. The company paragraph also explains how international recruitment can provide access to talent and help businesses adapt to local markets, with Google, Microsoft and Tim Hortons as illustrations. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the link between working abroad and “financial stability” could be clarified, and the employee benefits are less developed than the company benefits. To strengthen the response, explain the practical effects of cultural experience or skill development on an employee’s career, rather than relying mainly on general claims and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. The progression between the two parts of the task is easy to follow, and examples generally appear beside the points they support. Linking expressions such as “For example,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the structure, though some transitions feel formulaic or do not express the relationship precisely. Within paragraphs, several ideas are joined in long sequences with repeated “and,” which makes the development less smooth. References such as “it” in “it offer plenty of advantages” are also not fully clear. Use more varied links that show cause and result, and make each paragraph’s central point explicit before adding its explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “financial stability,” “cultural groups,” “global talent,” and “expand their businesses.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and the writer attempts some less common expressions. However, inaccurate word choice and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning awkward, as in “better approach to work openings,” “attract with the people,” and “abudance amount of funds.” There are also spelling and word-form problems, including “availibility” and “through out.” Aim for natural combinations such as “access to job opportunities,” “interact with people,” and “a substantial income.” Prefer precise, familiar phrasing over expressions that sound formal but do not fit the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
There is an attempt to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional phrasing (“if someone is working in Canada”) and clauses explaining reasons (“because of the currency exchange rates”). The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors recur and occasionally make sentences difficult to process. Examples include “From last few decades,” “it offer plenty of advantages,” and “an employee who choose,” where articles, agreement or verb forms need attention. The sentence beginning “To my way of thinking” is also structurally awkward, and several long sentences combine clauses without clear control. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, articles and clause structure, then divide sentences when they contain several separate claims. More accurate control of these patterns would make the complex attempts clearer.
