Student answer (Band 5.5)

In recent years multiple international companies send their employees in different companies to work there for a specific time period. I believe that this is beneficial practice for both employees and employers.

Firstly, when a business have its own branch or a partners company in foreign county. They exchange their employees to learn in different environments and get experience in their field. For example, employees in pakistan passport office they work in pakistan and in many countries of world. When they go across the border they learn a different way of work, which bring a positive impact on their personel life and in their work as well. It is observed that those employees work harder and motivate others. Moreover those employees do not take leaves but on for emergency.

Whereas, on the other hand, companies also enjoy the benefits. These companies do not face any turn over so they do not invest in hiring process. Secondly they have international experienced employees which gives a positive impact in market and people buy their shares, because of that companies become financial stable. Fuethermore, companies enjoy free marketing because when an employee go abroad their family friends and neibourhood evey one will discuss that he got this oppertunity because of his company. People will discuss about this company's positive atitute towards its workers. Therefore people will buy its products and services.

In conclusion, multinational companies polish their employees by giving them international level experience and also they enjoy financial stability and more business. There are multiple pros for both parties.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and maintain a clear view that overseas placements benefit employees and employers. The employee section gives relevant reasons, including learning in a different work environment and gaining experience, while the company section mentions staff retention, reduced recruitment costs, and improved public image. These points make the response relevant and sufficiently complete. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others: the passport-office example is difficult to connect to international companies, and the claim that employees take fewer leaves is not clearly linked to working abroad. The share-price and free-marketing claims would also benefit from a clearer explanation or a more specific example. Develop each main benefit with a direct cause-and-effect explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employees and companies, and a conclusion. This makes the two parts of the task easy to identify, and linking expressions such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “Whereas, on the other hand” uses two contrasting signals together, although the paragraph is adding the second side of the discussion. The shift from employee experience to taking fewer leaves is abrupt, and the sequence from international experience to share purchases needs a clearer link. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then order supporting details so each follows logically from the previous one.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “international companies,” “hiring process,” “financial stability,” and “products and services.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “positive impact” and “international level experience.” However, the range and control are limited by repeated general wording and inaccurate word choices or collocations. For example, “turn over” does not clearly express the intended idea of staff retention, and “companies polish their employees” is not a natural way to describe professional development. Spelling errors such as “Fuethermore,” “neibourhood,” and “oppertunity” are noticeable. Build a more precise vocabulary for workplace mobility and check spelling and collocations during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “a different way of work, which bring a positive impact” and a reason clause beginning “because of that.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. For instance, “when a business have” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “They exchange their employees” follows a sentence fragment beginning “Firstly, when…”. In “employees in pakistan passport office they work,” the sentence structure is incomplete, while “when an employee go abroad” has an agreement error. Review sentence boundaries, agreement, and article use, and practise combining dependent clauses with complete main clauses. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
