Student answer (Band 5.0)

In recent years, exploring overseas countries have a best way to get opportunity for individuals career. While some large international companies provide access to spend a certain period of time living and working in another country, my opinion, there numerous adavantages are there.

There are a few reasons, big companies offer their staff to work in different country. Primarily, in other developed countries have innovative technology. Secondly, nowadays, we are seeing many online platforms that we buy from the other countries. If we could invent that apps, that would be not only helpful to the company but also help to the entire country. Finally, staff moving to overseas get multiple projects to the company. For example, in USA, modern technology has drastically improved, especially IPhone, many Indian younger generations keen on this mobile, which is why they are importing from USA. If we have that software and manufacture materials availble in our country that cost would be affordable.

First and foremost this is a positive development, many people want to up-date in their career such as learning new skills, and adapting new environment. This trend, not only help them to increase communication skills but also enhances professional creative thinking and logical approach. Moreover, large companies like Google also get benefits as that employees transfering the work related data and many technichal projects get from other countries.

In conclusion, in modern era, many large international companies offer their staff the opportunity to spend a period of time living and working in another country. From my point of view, undeniably, this is a fantastic way to interact with overseas citizens. This trend, absoultely positive development for companies as well as countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: employee benefits include learning skills, adapting to a new environment, and improving communication and creative thinking, while company benefits are linked to gaining technical knowledge and projects from abroad. However, these points are often asserted rather than explained, and the company advantages are less clearly developed than the employee benefits. The example about importing iPhones and making them more affordable is relevant in principle, but its connection to staff working overseas is not made explicit. Your position that this is positive is clear near the end, though the opening is difficult to interpret. The response is 249 words, so it falls one word short of the 250-word minimum; develop and support the ideas further as well as meeting the required length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Primarily,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help identify stages in the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is not always clear: the move from online shopping platforms to inventing apps and then to importing iPhones leaves the relationship between the examples and overseas placements uncertain. Some linking phrases are also mechanical or awkward, including “First and foremost” and “Moreover,” while “this trend” is repeated without always making its reference precise. To improve, organise each body paragraph around one main benefit, explain it, and connect the example directly to that point using clear referencing.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “innovative technology,” “adapting new environment,” “professional creative thinking,” and “logical approach.” These choices show an effort to discuss workplace development, but the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spellings make the meaning less clear. Examples include “a best way,” “multiple projects to the company,” “manufacture materials,” and “employees transfering the work related data.” Spelling errors such as “adavantages,” “availble,” and “absoultely” are also noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than adding ambitious wording: for instance, explain that employees gain international experience or transfer expertise to their company.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer structures, including “This trend, not only help them to increase communication skills but also enhances…” and the conditional “If we have that software… that cost would be affordable.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow. The opening has subject–verb and article problems in “exploring overseas countries have a best way,” while “my opinion, there numerous adavantages are there” lacks a grammatical structure. Agreement is inconsistent in “This trend… help” and “enhances,” and clauses such as “in other developed countries have innovative technology” are incomplete. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
