Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, many companies wants to expand their work to the worldwide. Thereofore, they give opportunities to their employees to spend a period of time and working in another country. I believe it's a great opportunity for employees who plays an essential role to provide benefits to the companies.
There are several reasons why it is great opportunity for employees to spend a period of time in another country. Firstly, it is fully sponsored by companies, so employees do not have to spend money to live in abroad except their personal expenses. Secondly, employees can learn different culture and tradition of another country which helps them to make a decision on whether they can permanently move to this country or not.Thirdly, it gives ability to the employees to think out of the box and set a higher goal for themselves. The last but not least is that employees might can get higher salaries because it increases the responsibilty and workload of them. For example, an employee who is working with a minimum wage , but if he or she has an ability to perform well in another country for the same company that they are working for then it's a great opportunity for them to get higher salary in different country.
This development have some advantages for the companies. First of all, this development plays an essential role to create good reputation at world level. Moreover, it boost the sales of a particular company if they have courage to take a risk for investing money in operations at a world level. Furthermore, it motivate the employees as well to work hard and give their best if the company is doing good at world level. Therefore, this development is benefical for both, the companies and its employees.
To conclude, this development gives a chance to the employees to improve themselves in a particular field and it plays an essential role for any companies whose vision is to grow worldwide.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall view that overseas assignments can benefit employees and companies. The employee section offers several relevant points, including cultural learning, personal development and the possibility of higher pay; the company section mentions reputation, sales and staff motivation. However, some points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the link between international operations and increased sales is not illustrated, and the claim that employees may earn more could be developed by explaining how the assignment leads to promotion or specialist skills. The opening also suggests that employees provide benefits to companies without clearly introducing the two parts of the response. Develop fewer points with specific explanations or examples to make the answer more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on employee benefits, one on company advantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Moreover” help readers identify the progression of points. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and also shows some flexibility through paragraphing and a range of linking expressions. However, the repeated list-style transitions make parts of the employee paragraph feel mechanical, while “Therefore” in the company paragraph does not clearly show the relationship between the preceding claims and the conclusion. Some references, such as “this development,” are broad and could be made more specific. Use transitions that express the actual relationship between ideas and connect each example directly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “reputation,” “responsibility,” “workload,” and “investing money.” There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “think out of the box” and “at world level.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “expand their work to the worldwide,” “learn different culture,” and “higher salary in different country.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “Thereofore,” “responsibilty,” and “benefical” also reduce precision. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall message, but they make the language less controlled. Build a more precise range by learning common business collocations and checking spelling and forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “employees who plays an essential role” and a conditional example beginning “if he or she has an ability to perform well.” The overall meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors recur. Subject–verb agreement is inaccurate in “companies wants,” “who plays,” “this development have,” and “it boost.” There are also problems with articles, plurals and sentence construction, as in “it is great opportunity” and “employees might can get.” The long example sentence is difficult to control and would be clearer as two sentences. Work on agreement, articles and modal verbs, and aim to produce accurate complex sentences rather than combining several ideas into one.
