Student answer (Band 6.0)
One of the most conspicuous trends of globalized world is numerous well-known firms provide opportunity to their employees dwelling and getting paid in different nation. In my opinion, this can play a crucial role not only in the development of a person but also for a company.
The most preponderant one in terms of the progress for a person is, people get an exposure of lifestyle, culture, rituals and the festivals of that nation which can eventually assist them to be familiar with people, their food, languages, and perspectives. Secondly, if a person grabs an opportunity to work in a multi-national companies abroad could end up providing him better work experience, environment and salary raise too. Furthermore, as it is rightly said that "great power comes with great responsibilities", when a person travels overseas it requires a huge adjustment in his daily life such as time difference between two nations, performing all duties on his own including outside work and household chores also. Ultimately, it becomes a learning life lesson for a person that can help him to become more independent and mature.
In addition to, it is very advantageous for companies too. first and foremost, various companies get recognition at international level due to their employees outstanding performance while working in overseas. Moreover, international experience of an employee help company to generate better revenue and country's economy as well. It also creates a reputation and benchmark for the companies's standards. There is always a room to improve, international experience of an employee can provide help to get rid of some problems within the company.
In conclusion, it is beneficial for the company and the employees of a company when people spend quite a time abroad.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question and maintain a clear overall view that overseas work benefits employees and companies. For employees, you explain cultural exposure, work experience, and greater independence; for companies, you mention international recognition, revenue, and identifying internal problems. These are relevant points, but some are not fully explained. For example, the link between an employee’s overseas experience and “better revenue” is asserted rather than illustrated, and the point about helping a company “get rid of some problems” is vague. Develop each benefit with a brief explanation or example, and make the company advantages more specific, such as transferring market knowledge or building relationships with overseas clients.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employees and companies, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Secondly,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages, and the ideas generally progress logically. This meets the lower-band expectations securely and shows some features of stronger organisation. However, several transitions feel mechanical, including “The most preponderant one” and “In addition to,” while the employee paragraph combines cultural learning, salary, and personal responsibilities without always making the links between them explicit. Use more natural transitions and organise each paragraph around a clear main benefit, followed by its explanation or example. This would make the progression smoother and cohesion less noticeable.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.5
You show an adequate range and make attempts to use less common vocabulary, including “conspicuous trends,” “international level,” “recognition,” and “independent and mature.” The meaning is generally clear, and the vocabulary supports discussion of both personal and business benefits. However, some ambitious choices are inaccurate or unnatural in context: “preponderant” does not fit the intended meaning, “grabs an opportunity” is awkward, and “a learning life lesson” is redundant. There are also word-form and collocation problems, such as “employees outstanding performance” and “salary raise.” Aim for precise, natural combinations rather than choosing unusually formal words. For instance, “major benefit,” “takes up an opportunity,” and “a valuable lesson” would express your ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a sentence beginning “when a person travels overseas” and a concluding sentence with “when people spend quite a time abroad.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include missing or incorrect articles in “a multi-national companies,” subject–verb disagreement in “experience … help,” and the incomplete construction “The most preponderant one … is, people get.” There are also problems with possessives and sentence punctuation, as in “companies's standards” and the lowercase “first” after a full stop. These errors do not usually prevent understanding, but they reduce control. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, article use, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for a complete grammatical structure.
