Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this globalised world, every multinational company tries and gives their best to stay ahead in the competition of marketing. For the sake of being on the top, they invest in millions of their currencies to attract more consumers. Talking about that, sending their own employees to visit different other countries is one of the newest trends.

As we all know, 'Networking' is what helps a company to hold its roots all over the world and is what helps them stay strong. MNC's send people to visit and spend time in multi different countries which not only helps them to gain information about the interests and aspects of people but also helps them to spread the ideas of them being in the particular country which obvously is always the pros. People get atttacted with the fact of having a new brand or product which is the first and foremost, also a vital step for these companies to grow.

With this, employees get to learn and gain more knowledge about the needs of people which a company might have never guessed while sitting in the same place. Which then leads to conversion and mixing of different ideas that helps them narrow out other concepts that could lead to the failure or success in the future because, different people may have always have different opinions.

In conclusion, this trend of choosing and adding different individuals helps companies to choose what is right and what is not. Because, having multiple opinions and having organised meetings helps them narrow out all the pros and cons which can definitely help multi level companies to grow.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both parts of the question by discussing what employees can learn abroad and how companies may gain knowledge of local customers and markets. The point that employees can understand “the needs of people” is relevant, as is the idea that international exposure can help a company introduce its products. However, the response focuses much more on company benefits than on benefits to employees: learning is mentioned, but personal development, career prospects, or cultural understanding are not explained. Several ideas, such as “networking” and gathering opinions, remain broad or unclear, and there is no specific example to support them. Develop each part of the question with a clear explanation and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has separate paragraphs and a recognisable introduction and conclusion, so the reader can identify its general topic. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The second paragraph moves from networking to customer interests and then brand promotion, while the third begins with “With this” without making the connection to the previous point precise. Linking expressions such as “which then leads to” and “also” are used, but some sentences become long and difficult to follow. The conclusion largely repeats the idea that companies benefit from opinions rather than drawing together the employee and company advantages. Organise the body into one paragraph for each question and use clear topic sentences and references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “multinational company,” “consumers,” “networking,” and “opinions,” which helps establish the subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the intended meaning less clear. Examples include “competition of marketing,” “multi different countries,” “spread the ideas of them being in the particular country,” and “narrow out other concepts.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “obvously” and “atttacted.” Aim for precise collocations and avoid repeating general words such as “helps” and “different.” For example, describe companies as “expanding into overseas markets” and employees as “gaining insight into local consumer preferences.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some complex sentence forms, particularly with “which” clauses and the contrast in “not only … but also,” but these structures are often faulty or incomplete. For example, “With this, employees get to learn … Which then leads to conversion” leaves a dependent clause as a sentence fragment, and “different people may have always have different opinions” contains an incorrect verb construction. The opening sentence also has an awkward subject–verb pattern: “every multinational company tries and gives their best.” Commas are sometimes placed where full stops or no punctuation would be clearer, as in “Because, having multiple opinions…”. Use shorter, complete sentences first, then add complex clauses with carefully checked subjects, verbs, and punctuation.
