Student answer (Band 5.5)
These days multinational companies gave an opportunity to their employees to spend some time working and living overseas. This offer provides various benefits to the employees for their future development as well as valuable for companies. I firmly believe that this aspect help them to broaden their horizons.
Working in international company is beneficial for the staff in seeking novelty. During this time, employees can explore culture, food and various attractions which is a effective opportunity for them and their family. They can earn money in different currency which may be more income for them and can experience high living standards. Thus, they can think about spending whole life overthere because of the benefits offered by multinational company for the betterment of themselves.
This phenomenon is enriching for the companies in enhancing their knowledge by learning different techniques of the international company.
If employee is working with professionals they could improve their skills and ability to perform well which is rewarding for their own organisation.
In the future, companies can implement same methods for the development of their company for the success in business and can gain name and fame in the business world.
To conclude, this enlightening opportunity is highly advantegeous for the reputation of the workers and companies because it offers wide range of opportunities to them simulanteously.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions and give a clear general view that overseas placements can benefit employees and companies. The employee paragraph mentions cultural experiences, family, income and living standards, while the company paragraphs explain that staff may learn techniques and bring them back to improve business. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example, and some claims—such as employees considering spending their whole lives abroad—are not clearly connected to the question. The conclusion repeats the general benefit without adding insight. The response is also below the required 250 words, which limits how fully you can develop the ideas. Explain the mechanisms and add a relevant example for each side.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate discussion of employees and companies, and a conclusion. This makes the two parts of the task easy to identify. Basic linking expressions such as “Thus,” “If,” and “To conclude” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the employee paragraph moves from cultural exploration to currency and then to settling abroad without explaining the links. The company discussion is split into two short paragraphs, and “This phenomenon” has an unclear reference. Use clearer topic sentences, group related points, and connect each benefit to its consequence so the argument develops more smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “multinational companies,” “broaden their horizons,” “international company,” and “implement same methods.” These choices show an attempt to discuss work and international experience beyond very basic language. However, several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, such as “seeking novelty,” “earn money in different currency,” and “gain name and fame.” There are also spelling errors in “advantegeous” and “simulanteously,” and “overthere” is not appropriate as one word in this context. Aim for more natural collocations and check spelling carefully; precise phrases such as “gain international experience” and “transfer effective practices” would make your meaning clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure (“If employee is working with professionals…”) and clauses explaining outcomes. The main ideas are generally understandable, but errors in agreement, articles and verb forms recur. For example, “this aspect help” should be “this aspect helps,” and “If employee” needs an article or plural form. In “they could improve their skills … which is rewarding,” the pronoun and clause reference are unclear, while “a effective opportunity” has an article error. Some sentences also combine several ideas with “and,” making their structure difficult to control. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build longer sentences around one clear main clause.
