Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response makes a relevant attempt to discuss benefits for both employees and companies, mentioning that workers may learn new skills and working methods and that companies may support their economic growth. However, the task is addressed only partially: the employee benefits are vague, and the company advantages are not clearly explained or supported with a specific example. The point that employees might use their experience to start their own company is introduced but not connected to a clear benefit for their employer. The conclusion also does not summarise the two sides accurately. The response is 85 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop the ideas. Explain each advantage and add a relevant example for both questions.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help show the intended sequence. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The first body paragraph shifts from staff learning to company rules without explaining the connection, while the second moves from employees’ living standards to meetings with CEOs and then to starting a business. Some linking is also awkward, as in “Large companies working with multinational sectors, in that…”. Develop one main point at a time, use clearer references to connect sentences, and ensure the conclusion follows logically from the discussion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses a small but relevant set of topic vocabulary, including “employees,” “working methods,” “economic growth” and “multinational sectors.” These terms show an attempt to discuss international business and workplace development. However, the range is limited, and several word choices or collocations make ideas unclear, such as “better option for staff,” “change their living standard” and “apply on their company.” Spelling errors, including “eassy,” “comany” and “differnt,” are noticeable and reduce accuracy. Build a more precise vocabulary for benefits such as professional development, cross-cultural understanding and knowledge transfer, and check spelling and natural word combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response mainly relies on simple sentence patterns, with a few attempts to join ideas using “if,” “also” and “in addition.” Some meaning remains understandable, but frequent errors in sentence construction and verb forms make parts difficult to follow. For example, “offering a opportunity to their employees to living and work” has problems with articles and the verb pattern, while “if their workers will work” uses an unsuitable tense after “if.” The sentence beginning “Moreover, it is good option for workers too” also joins separate ideas with a comma. Practise accurate basic clauses first, then add controlled complex sentences; check articles, verb forms, agreement and sentence boundaries.
