Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both questions by mentioning personal development for employees and improved productivity and skills for companies. However, the response only partially fulfils the task: the employee benefits are mostly listed rather than explained, and the company advantages are especially unclear. For example, “they bring variety of skills” is relevant, but you do not explain how overseas experience benefits the company itself, such as through stronger local knowledge, international collaboration, or staff retention. The claim that employees’ promotions build companies’ “better positions” is difficult to follow. The response is also 17 words below the required minimum, leaving limited space to develop examples and reasoning. Explain each benefit with a clear cause-and-effect link and add a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for employee and company benefits, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To start with,” “Moreover,” and “Moving forward” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are joined without clearly showing how they relate. For instance, the link between employees’ productivity, promotions, and companies’ standing is not made explicit. Some linking phrases also feel mechanical, and punctuation around them is inconsistent. To improve, organise each body paragraph around one main benefit, then explain it and give an example before moving to the next point. Clearer references to who benefits would also help.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “professional growth,” “social bonds,” “cultural backgrounds,” and “productively.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning harder to understand. Examples include “internatinal,” “opportuinities,” “full potentional,” “worldwidely,” and “high wage international companies.” Some phrases, such as “better leading life” and “recognition of their particular nation,” do not express the intended idea naturally. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships for employment and international business, and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise phrases such as “higher salaries” and “international recognition.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Working for other nations could provide them…” and a contrast with “This will not only… but also…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. For example, “it help them to acheive” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “an fruitful opportunity” uses the wrong article. The opening sentence also lacks a clear grammatical construction around “be a part,” and several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise accurate sentence patterns for explaining benefits, checking articles, agreement, and clause boundaries. Shorter, complete sentences would make your reasoning clearer.
