Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task, though some sections remain partially developed. You successfully mention your background by stating that you completed your graduation in business marketing in 2025 alongside online marketing courses. You also clearly state the purpose of the letter, which is to seek guidance on sales and online marketplaces like Amazon. Additionally, you suggest arrangements for a first meeting by proposing dinner at your home. However, some ideas lack full extension and detail, such as the brief reference to working with UK top-rated companies, which could have been expanded to better showcase your experience.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a recognizable beginning, middle, and end, following the standard format for a semi-formal or personal letter. Paragraphs are used to separate different topics, such as background, goals, and meeting arrangements. Nevertheless, cohesion is occasionally mechanical or faulty. Transitions between sentences feel abrupt at times, and repetitive use of direct address such as starting multiple paragraphs with 'Sir' disrupts the flow. Referencing could also be smoother to ensure clearer logical progression throughout the text.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to communicate your message. You attempt some less common lexical items, such as 'graduation studies' and 'sales techniques', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling. For instance, phrases like 'advises' instead of 'advice', 'I do graduation' instead of 'I graduated', 'honarable' instead of 'honourable', and 'grabe' instead of 'grab' demonstrate a lack of precision. While communication is generally maintained, these lexical inaccuracies occasionally cause difficulty for the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences. Attempts at complex sentence forms are often faulty or awkward, such as in the conditional clause 'if you get some time for me, so I need some advices'. There are frequent errors in verb tenses, prepositions, and punctuation, including incorrect tense usage ('I am writing a letter to get' and 'I worked with UK top-rated company's'), incorrect pluralization, and missing articles. These persistent mistakes require some effort from the reader to parse the meaning.
