Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three required points: you outline your computer studies and Quality Analyst experience, explain that you want support with quality-control and time-management skills, and propose an online first meeting because of the hybrid arrangement. These details make the letter relevant and purposeful. The study and work background is reasonably specific, including your work on a finance platform. However, the help you hope to receive is less fully explained: you mention skills and future assignments, but could identify particular guidance you would value, such as feedback on testing procedures or advice on prioritising tasks. The meeting proposal is also somewhat tentative and does not offer a time or ask when your mentor is available. More development of these points would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The letter has a clear overall progression: an opening purpose, background information, a paragraph about the support you want, and a final paragraph proposing how to meet. Paragraphing helps the reader distinguish these functions, and phrases such as “First of all” and “As this is a hybrid work mode” signal the movement between ideas. The sequence is logical and the main message remains easy to follow. Some links are less smooth, however. The opening says you are writing to schedule a meeting and provide a briefing, while the actual meeting request appears later; a more direct introduction to your background would improve the flow. The transition from the meeting suggestion to the tools used by the team also feels abrupt. Use clearer links to show why these topics belong together.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of workplace vocabulary, including “Quality Analyst,” “business requirements,” “Finance platform,” “quality control,” and “job responsibilities.” These terms communicate your experience and goals clearly, and you attempt some more specialised language relevant to the role. However, several word choices, collocations, and spelling errors reduce precision: “breifing,” “survileance,” and “greatful” are misspelled, while “I have done graduation” and “positives and negatives of the developed product” are not natural expressions in this context. “Core quality control” is also unclear. Aim for accurate, conventional professional phrasing, such as “I graduated in computer science” and “identify positive and negative test results.” This would make your vocabulary more precise and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of sentence forms, including longer sentences with subordinate clauses, and the reader can generally understand your background and requests. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “I have proficient in understanding” needs a verb such as “am,” while “I wish under your … I get a chance” requires a clearer clause structure, such as “I hope that, under your guidance, I can develop…”. In “I request you to before In-person meeting we can connect,” the word order and clause pattern are faulty. There are also missing or misplaced articles and punctuation around “Google Meet.Thus”. These errors do not prevent understanding, but editing sentence patterns and checking punctuation would improve control.
