Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three required points and maintains an appropriate, friendly-professional purpose. You outline your background as a physiotherapy graduate with three years in a multispecialty hospital, explain that you want guidance in neurology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and practical techniques, and propose meeting in the staffroom in the evening. These details make the request relevant and personal. However, the study and work history could be clearer, and the help you seek is more fully specified than the career support you hope to receive. The meeting suggestion would also be more complete if you offered a particular day or asked when your mentor is available. Developing these details would make the letter more fully rounded.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The information is arranged in a sensible sequence: introduction, background, learning goals, meeting proposal and closing. Separate paragraphs help the reader identify each part of the letter, and links such as “As this new place” and “also” show attempts to connect ideas. The overall progression is clear, though some connections are awkward or mechanical, and the long sentence beginning “I would like you teach me” combines several requests and supporting details. The reference to “that hospital” is understandable but could be integrated more smoothly. Use clearer transitions and divide the learning-goals section into more focused sentences; this would make the cohesion more flexible and less noticeable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant professional vocabulary, including “neurology,” “cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation,” “patient communication” and “work responsibilities,” which helps convey your goals. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “mobiliazation technique” and “stiff muscles.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, including “mutli speciality,” “pratical,” “strech” and “rehablitation.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “neurology level physiotherapy treatment” and “excellent skills in rehabilitation.” These choices do not prevent the reader from understanding your main message, but they reduce precision and naturalness. Check spelling carefully and learn common professional collocations, for example “neurological physiotherapy” and “strong rehabilitation skills.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The letter includes both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, such as the sentence explaining what you hope to learn and why. The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “I have done bachelor's of physiotherapist” has problems with the article and noun form, while “I have learn many skills” uses an incorrect verb form. In “I would like you teach me,” the infinitive pattern is incomplete, and “one of my friend who was working here she told” has problems with number and sentence structure. Review past and present perfect forms, articles, and verb patterns after “would like.” More accurate control of these structures would make your meaning smoother.
