Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you outline your commerce and leadership studies and your roles at CIBC and Rogers, explain that you want guidance with handling phone queries, and propose meeting next Monday. These details make the letter relevant and give Alex a clear sense of your background and immediate needs. The request for help is somewhat narrow, however, and the meeting suggestion is not fully clear because “next monday is great is good option” does not specify a time or invite a particular alternative. Develop the purpose of mentoring a little further—for example, mention learning workplace procedures or building confidence—and make the proposed arrangements more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall sequence: introduction, education and work history, request for support, and meeting arrangements. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and phrases such as “To begin with” and “Apart from that” guide the reader through your background. This coherent organisation meets the task well, though some linking is mechanical and a few transitions are awkward. For instance, “I would like suggest some arrgements” moves abruptly into a confusing meeting proposal, while “I hope you are doing well.I am writing” needs clearer sentence separation. Use a wider range of natural transitions and ensure each paragraph develops one point smoothly; clearer links between your experience and the help you seek would strengthen progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough relevant vocabulary to communicate the main information, including “master in commerce,” “sales agent,” “queries,” and “years of experience.” However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less polished: “qualtification,” “persuing,” “apperciate,” and “benefical.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “tell you about my myself” and “basic knowledge about the work.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and a more professional register—for example, describe your “educational background” and ask for “guidance on handling customer enquiries.” Proofreading spelling and choosing precise workplace vocabulary would make your meaning easier to follow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You communicate using mostly simple sentence patterns and make some attempts to combine ideas, as in “as you have years of experience in this.” However, errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms sometimes make the message difficult to read. Examples include “I would like suggest,” “I worked for cibc bank almost for six,” and “Please let me know if that is works for you.” The meeting sentence, “next monday is great is good option,” also needs a clearer structure. Practise using complete clauses, correct verb forms, and articles—for example, “I would like to suggest Monday” and “Please let me know whether that works for you.” Check punctuation and capitalisation as well, especially sentence boundaries and proper nouns.
