Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover the three requested points: you introduce your MBA and previous customer-service experience, explain that you want guidance with sales cash flow, and propose a meeting date and time. The purpose is generally clear, and the details about your role and the report give the letter relevant context. However, the request for help is not fully aligned with the task’s broader career-support context: the focus on correcting mistakes and completing a task “as soon as possible” is quite narrow. The meeting arrangement is also presented as already fixed rather than suggested, and inviting several colleagues may not suit a first mentor meeting. Explain more specifically what ongoing advice you hope to receive and ask whether the proposed time works.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The letter has a clear overall progression: introduction and background, the help you need, meeting arrangements, and a polite closing. Paragraphing supports this sequence, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “Furthermore” make the stages easy to follow. The main weakness is that some connections feel mechanical or do not express the relationship between ideas precisely. For example, “Although I have really limited knowledge about it, I found some mistakes” is understandable, but the contrast is not clearly explained. The meeting paragraph also moves from saying arrangements are already made to asking the mentor to attend, which makes the plan slightly confusing. Use more natural transitions and make the proposed arrangement and request for confirmation explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the workplace context, including “Global Business Management,” “customer handling,” “cash flow,” and “mentor”-related support. The meaning is usually recoverable, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “customer handling,” “a depth knowledge,” and “in that reports.” There are also spelling errors in “Reebook,” “expereinced,” and “meething,” which reduce the accuracy of the letter’s vocabulary. Some phrases, including “get your assistance” and “complete this task as soon as possible,” sound more demanding than is appropriate for introducing yourself to a mentor. Choose conventional workplace expressions and check spelling carefully to make your tone more professional and precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the subordinate clause beginning “Although” and the relative clause “who gives them advice and support” in the task context. Most of the message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors are noticeable. For example, “I am new Sales officer” needs an article, “I also have 3 years experience” needs a possessive form or a hyphenated adjective, and “It will on 25 Oct” is missing a verb. There are also errors in number and sentence construction in “some mistakes in that reports.” Improve article use, verb completeness, and plural forms, and proofread punctuation and spacing. More consistently accurate sentences would make your otherwise clear message easier to read.
