Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: you outline your commerce and accounting studies and previous role, identify support you want with company policies and accounting software, and ask to arrange a meeting. The details about your two-and-a-half years as a senior accountant make the introduction relevant. However, the help you seek is presented mainly as a list of questions, and the request for guidance on increasing profitability is not clearly connected to what you hope to learn as a new employee. The meeting proposal is also quite general: you ask for a suitable time but do not suggest a day, time, or format. These points are clear enough overall, but developing the purpose of the mentoring and offering a specific meeting option would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a recognisable structure, moving from your background to the support you want and then to a meeting request. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages, and expressions such as “Moreover” and “I look forward to hearing from you” support the progression. Some linking is mechanical or not quite logical: “Therefore, I am quite experienced in my job” repeats the preceding information, while “However” does not establish a clear contrast with your introduction. The questions in the second paragraph also interrupt the flow of the request. In the final paragraph, “These are the important factors” refers somewhat vaguely to the preceding points. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each paragraph’s ideas more directly.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for a professional introduction, including relevant terms such as “mentor,” “company’s culture and policies,” “financial statements,” and “profitability.” The formal tone is generally appropriate, and your meaning remains understandable. However, several word choices and collocations are unnatural or imprecise, including “placement in the one of the private companies,” “detailed knowledge,” and “training of software.” There are also spelling and form issues such as “Firstfall,” “answere,” and “inperson,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for natural workplace phrasing and check compound words and spelling. For example, describe your previous role as employment at a company, and ask for training in the accounting software rather than training of it.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and more complex sentences, including the relative clause “where I have worked as senior accountant” and polite conditional requests. The overall message is understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction, articles, verb forms, and punctuation. Examples include “I would like have to some suggestions,” “I would appreciate if could provide me,” and “I would appreciate if you could meet-inperson and answere these following questions.” The sentence beginning “After that” also needs more accurate article and clause construction. Review patterns such as “would like to receive,” “I would appreciate it if you could,” and article use before job titles and company references. More consistent sentence boundaries and punctuation would improve control.
