Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.5

You address all three requirements clearly: you introduce yourself, outline your college studies and internship, explain the support you want, and propose a specific meeting time and place. The details about discussing your responsibilities and professional goals make the meeting suggestion relevant, while the offer to adjust your schedule is considerate. Your request for help with daily tasks and career prospects is appropriate, though it could be more fully developed by naming a particular skill or challenge you expect to work on. The letter maintains a suitable, polite purpose throughout. To strengthen it further, add one or two concrete details about your previous work experience, since the background currently focuses mainly on your studies and internship.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.5

The letter is organised in a clear sequence: introduction, background, expectations of the mentor, meeting arrangements, and a closing. Paragraphing supports this progression, and linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover,” and “Regarding our first meeting” help signal shifts between points. The proposed time and place are easy to locate, and the final sentence provides a natural close. Some transitions feel slightly formulaic, and the long list of skills in the second paragraph interrupts the flow. You could improve cohesion by grouping related qualifications more smoothly and using a few less predictable links. Overall, however, the reader can follow the message without difficulty, and the letter’s structure is appropriate for its purpose.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for a professional introductory letter, including “internship,” “supervision,” “productivity,” and “career prospects.” These choices communicate your background and expectations clearly, and the tone is generally polite. However, several spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations limit the accuracy of your word choice, such as “bussiness,” “bookeeping,” “faciliated,” and “supproting.” Phrases such as “operate everything smoothly” and “professional experienced” are also not idiomatic in this context. Aim to check spelling carefully and learn common workplace collocations as complete phrases. More precise wording would make your message sound more confident and professional without requiring unusually advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and more complex sentence forms, including subordinate clauses such as “where I acquired many skills” and “if this time is inconvenient for you.” Most of the message remains understandable, and you attempt to express relationships between ideas rather than relying only on short sentences. Some grammatical errors remain, however. For example, “I would appreciate you would also help me” needs a different clause pattern, and “one of the reputable company” has an article and plural-form problem. The phrase “in details” also needs a more accurate grammatical form, and the stray “z” before “I would” disrupts punctuation. Review article use, clause patterns after “appreciate,” and proofreading for typing slips to improve accuracy.
