Dear Sir,
I hope you finds this letter in a good health. I am Julie, and recently I have completed my education in social media marketing. I have a one year experience as a marketing intern in a well reputed company of the city. I gained a lot of knowledge there, and learned many technical skills, which would be beneficial for my future career.
In addition, I want to enhance my professional skills under your supervision, as I listened, you are a great mentor, and have experience of many years in this field. So, I am very greatful to you if you would help me to learn more about marketing tricks.
Moreover, I request you to arrange a meeting regarding this. I would suggest that, please arrange this meeting in a calm environtment because it would be better to discuss all the queries in a stressfree ambiance, I hope you would never mind it at all.
Yours sincerely,
Julie

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The letter covers all three required points: you introduce yourself, mention your studies and internship, explain the support you want, and request a first meeting. The details about completing social media marketing studies and gaining a year of internship experience are relevant, while asking for guidance to develop professional skills gives the mentor a clear sense of your aims. However, some points are less fully addressed than others. The help you hope to receive is described generally as learning “marketing tricks,” without identifying particular skills or career challenges. The meeting request also lacks a proposed time or practical arrangement. Add one or two specific learning goals and suggest a day, time, or format to make the letter more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The message has a coherent overall arrangement: it moves from your background to the support you seek and then to a meeting request. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and linking expressions such as “In addition” and “Moreover” make the progression easy to follow. This meets the criterion’s expectation of an organised response. However, the connectors are somewhat formulaic, and the final paragraph combines a request, a suggestion, and a reason in one long sentence, making the arrangement less smooth. The phrase “regarding this” is also vague because it does not clearly refer to a particular meeting arrangement. Use more direct transitions and separate the meeting proposal from your explanation—for example, suggest a specific time, then briefly state your preference for a quiet place.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate your background and intentions, including “professional skills,” “technical skills,” and “supervision.” These choices suit the workplace context, and the reader can understand your main message. However, several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “in a good health,” “a one year experience,” and “marketing tricks” do not express your meaning idiomatically. There are also spelling errors in “greatful” and “environtment,” and “stressfree ambiance” is an awkward choice for a professional letter. Aim for accurate workplace collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “marketing strategies” and “a quiet setting” would make your requests sound clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The letter includes both simple statements and longer sentences with subordinate clauses, such as “I would suggest that…” and “because it would be better to discuss…”. This shows some range, and the intended meaning remains clear throughout. However, some grammatical errors occur in basic patterns. In “I hope you finds,” the verb does not agree with its subject; “I have a one year experience” has an incorrect article and noun construction; and “as I listened, you are…” uses an unsuitable tense and clause structure. The final sentence also has awkward punctuation around “I would suggest that, please arrange…”. Review subject–verb agreement, articles, and reported information, and divide long sentences so each clause has a clear grammatical structure.
