Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you outline your IT training and HR experience, explain that you want help learning the software, and propose possible meeting times and a location. The purpose is clear, and the details about your working hours make the arrangement relevant. However, the study and work background is not fully clear: you say this is your first job after IT training, then mention four years as an HR manager and studies in the same field, without explaining how these experiences relate. The help you seek is also focused mainly on software, so it could be developed with another specific area, such as understanding team procedures or setting career goals. Clarifying these points would make the response more complete and precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: you introduce your purpose, describe your background, explain the support you want, and finish with meeting arrangements. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages, and phrases such as “As you know” and “Moving further” signal transitions. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, however. “Moving further” does not naturally introduce the request, and “Either we can plan to meet me after working ours or you can decide on weekends” makes the proposed options difficult to follow. The final sentence also combines several details without a clear pause. Use simpler, more direct transitions and separate the meeting options into clear sentences to strengthen progression and cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use vocabulary relevant to the workplace and mentoring, including “career,” “guidance,” “analyse,” and “working experience,” so the message is generally understandable. There are also attempts at more specific terms, such as “IT Analyst” and “human resource manager.” However, several spelling errors and inaccurate word choices reduce precision: “quicky,” “familier,” “efficieny,” and “Morover” should be corrected, while “softwares” is not normally pluralised in this context. Some phrases are also unnatural, including “learn my job duties more quickly” and “analyse and use with efficiency.” Aim for accurate spelling and natural collocations, and choose wording that clearly describes what you want to learn.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including the contrast introduced by “However” and the conditional idea “With your guidance I can learn more quickly.” The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors and punctuation problems are noticeable. For example, “I joined as an It Analyst last week” needs an article before the job title, and “I have finished my studies in same field in year 2018” has missing articles and an awkward time expression. In “Either we can plan to meet me,” the pronoun structure is incorrect. Several sentences also run together because spaces after full stops and commas are missing. Review articles, pronouns, and sentence boundaries, while continuing to use varied sentence structures.
