Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this contemporary era, healthy diet is very imporatnt from children as well as for kids. Doctors give advice people should have healthy diet instead of having vitamins and other pills. whereas, other people are spending alot of money on vitamins as compared to having a healthy diet. According to my point of view, people dont have time to make healthy food as they are busy in their working life and stuides. I will explain some reason in the upcoming paragraphs.

To start with, people spend high amount of their money on vitamin pills. They are thinking that because of these pills they can complete vitamins in their body. Morever, some of young people also taking vitamin pills instaed of mainting their diet. They believe that he or she can get more viatmins from pills instead of having peoper diet.

However, there is one important point that people can peruaded their diet instead of haing pills. According to me, givernment should rise awareness and held some health related activites in every society that there doctor will come and explain about health diet and tell people about to not take too much pills. Too much vitamin pills put bad effect on their body parts. They wil face difficulites in future.

To conclude, im the above paragraphs those points that i have mention are very helpful. If government will take actions and rise awawrness that would be good for people and new genration as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: you suggest that busy people lack time to prepare healthy food, and you recommend government awareness activities with doctors. These are relevant points, but the explanation remains limited. The reasons focus mainly on lack of time and the belief that pills provide vitamins; explain more fully why people trust pills or choose them despite doctors’ advice. The proposed awareness sessions are also not developed with a specific example of how they would change behaviour. Your position is present, though the opening and conclusion are general rather than a clear, developed summary. The response is 7 words below the required minimum, so it does not meet the task’s length requirement; use the extra space to extend your explanations and examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and solutions, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two parts of the task. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: the second paragraph repeats the idea that pills provide vitamins without adding much explanation, while the final paragraph largely repeats the recommendation to raise awareness. Linking words such as “To start with,” “However,” and “To conclude” make the organisation visible, but some transitions feel mechanical, and “However” does not clearly signal a contrast with the preceding paragraph. Build each paragraph around one main point, then explain or illustrate it, and use clearer links between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “vitamin pills,” “healthy diet,” “awareness,” and “health related activities.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make the writing less clear, such as “complete vitamins in their body,” “rise awareness,” and “bad effect.” Spelling errors including “imporatnt,” “stuides,” and “peruaded” are noticeable. Some wording is also repetitive, particularly the repeated references to pills and a healthy diet. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; this will help you express the reasons and proposed solutions more naturally and accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, but the range is limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “Doctors give advice people should have healthy diet” is missing grammatical elements, while “some of young people also taking” lacks a finite verb. The sentence beginning “According to me, givernment should…” also contains a faulty clause structure, and “If government will take actions” uses an unsuitable verb form after “if.” Articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries need more consistent control. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if.”
