Student answer (Band 6.5)
Despite getting an advice from practitioners that all vitamins can be obtained from a healthy and balanced diet, people still rely on a substantial amount of vitamin pills. I believe, due to hectic schedule, people are unable to get some spare time to prepare a healthy meal. However, digital media contains significant information about the merits of having a healthy diet, and demerits of consuming pills on daily basis that can encourage individuals to prepare meals at home.
One of the primary reasons why people spend enormous amount of money on vitamins pills is that it is convenient to take and time-efficient. In this fast-paced life, generally, both men and women are working, that is why, they left with very less time to prepare nutritious food at home. Packaged and ready-made food are easily available, but it usually contain a significant amount of sugar and saturated fat, which leads to obesity. People who work over time, usually get tired, and left with no energy to spend time in kitchen to prepare healthy meals. Therefore, it is evident that hectic schedule force people to rely on vitamins pills instead of consuming a balanced diet.
In this digital era, everyone have smart devices, that can be used to obtain information regarding the advantages of having a healthy diet. Additionally, a number of recipes are posted regularly on the Internet that do not need a lot of efforts to prepare, but contain all the essential nutrition. Not only does a healthy diet help to fulfill the vitamins deficiencies, but it also improves physical and mental health. For instance, there are several websites are available online, which allow individuals to put their height, weight, and age, to create a diet plan with full of vitamins, and nutrition. Hence, the Internet can play a vital role to promote healthy lifestyle.
To conclude, although spending most of the time at work does not allow people to prepare food at home, by watching simple meal prep videos online, and benefits of healthy food can encourage individuals to prepare balanced food at home.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt clearly. You identify the convenience of pills as a primary driver for their consumption and suggest digital media and online resources as a means of persuasion. The ideas are relevant and generally well-developed. However, the development could be more nuanced; for example, you could have explored the psychological aspect of 'health anxiety' or the role of marketing in the first body paragraph. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, restating points already made without adding a final synthesis. Overall, the response is focused and meets the requirements of the task well.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two main questions. You use a range of cohesive devices such as 'However', 'Additionally', and 'Hence' to link ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as 'everyone have smart devices' (should be 'has') and 'that can be used'. The flow is generally smooth, but the progression of ideas could be tightened to ensure a more sophisticated logical development.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to discuss the topic with some precision, using terms like 'fast-paced life', 'nutritious', and 'essential nutrition'. There are some minor collocation errors, such as 'getting an advice' (advice is uncountable) and 'put their height' (input is more precise). You attempt some less common vocabulary, which is good, but there is occasional repetition of basic terms like 'healthy diet' and 'prepare'. To reach a higher band, focus on using more varied synonyms and ensuring collocations are natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you successfully use complex sentences, there are several recurring grammatical errors that prevent a higher score. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues like 'everyone have' instead of 'everyone has', 'websites are available' (should be 'websites available'), and 'hectic schedule force' (should be 'schedules force'). Additionally, there are minor errors with articles and pluralization, such as 'a healthy and balanced diet' (correct) versus 'a significant amount of sugar' (correct) but 'vitamins pills' (should be 'vitamin pills'). These errors do not impede communication but are frequent enough to limit the score.
