Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for vitamin supplement use and methods to encourage dietary improvements. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of hectic lifestyles and the specific needs of bodybuilders. However, the development of the second part of the prompt—how to persuade people—is somewhat limited. While you mention education and the benefits of natural absorption, the argument could be strengthened by suggesting specific campaigns or government policies. The position is clear throughout, and the response covers all requirements of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two main points. Cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Consequently', and 'Furthermore' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as the abrupt start to the final paragraph. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, and the structure supports the reader's understanding of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to discuss the topic, including terms like 'deficiency', 'synergy effect', and 'cost-effective'. There are some minor errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'heaviely' (heavily), 'fullfill' (fulfill), 'dietry' (dietary), and 'gulcose' (glucose). Additionally, 'advicing' should be 'advising'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading. The vocabulary is generally appropriate for the task, but more precise collocations would elevate the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('doctors says') and incorrect verb forms ('we will discuss... and provide', 'we should aware indiviuals'). Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'it is not possible for them to fullfill their vitamins'. While the meaning is always clear and communication is not impeded, the frequency of these errors prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage will improve your accuracy.
